Classic spot. Been featured in numerous movies. Food is excellent. Both interiors and exteriors are retro and proper. Worth the usual wait in line, to have your food called.

I've been scared to come in here for months because it's always so packed, but any place with a line every single day must have something going for it - so I took a few deep breaths, got on with it, and was rewarded with a delicious, well priced meal in a cafe with an awesome (but loud!) environment. Getting through the line and hearing my order be shouted out felt like an achievement whose reward was fresh and tasty lunch! I'll be back here for sure.

I love this cafe. It's changed very little over the pandemic. Love the way the orders are still shouted out when ready. Slightly miss the way they used to include a description of the person who made the order "man in white shirt! Liver and bacon!".But the food great, reasonable prices, really nice atmosphere, and the whole place looks great of course.

Good authentic English breakfast! It taste so much better than hotel breakfast that I have stayed. If you are a tourist like me, worth to visit!

I wanted to get a traditional English breakfast during my very first visit to London last week, and stumbled upon this place while searching online for a place not touristy and ridiculously priced, and I’m glad I did. Regency has the same atmosphere as a local diner in the US; nothing fancy, pretty simple cafe with friendly staff, good food and good prices.I went on a weekday around 10am, and there was no line to get in, and service was pretty fast. I got the set breakfast deal with black pudding and bubble & squeak. I loved everything except black pudding, but that’s probably normal because black pudding is a uniquely weird delicacy :)I would definitely recommend Regency if you’re looking for a simple, traditional English breakfast in a friendly atmosphere where you’re not being ripped off as a tourist especially!

English breakfast is a definitely one of the must-try dishes when people visit UK. Regency Cafe, which was awarded the Top 5 restaurants in London by Yelp, serves authentic style with super reasonable price. We had their Set Breakfast Deal (£6.5) with extra Black Puddings, Bubble & Squeak and Hash Browns to share with a group of two. The portion is more than enough and we couldn't even finish the toasts in the set.The food exceeded our expectations and was amazingly good, especially the beans which was creamy & the hush browns which was crispy. Friends told us the taste of black puddings are really scary, but their’s were fine for us.The decor & ambiance is really cool with vintage style and it's also a popular spot for fashion magazine & Instagram photos.

Just ÂŁ6.75 for a set British breakfast!A rule: line up to order then take a seat and wait for your food.Always long queue outside the cafe.I love the atmosphere there, simple and good quality.

It was very busy but well worth the short wait. The food is excellent and they have everything worked out to an art. It is everything you would hope a London cafe to be without any hipster sheen or pretencious air. It is a proper cafe and should you find yourself in this part of the city I would recommend a visit heartily and without reservation.

A queue to get in, people talking loudly, you’ll need a commanding voice to make the order, a commanding voice in return calls you when your order is ready, decent food, economical, a perfect experience. I’d avoid their black coffee though. Go with the tea. Make it proper.

I moved in a few doors down last month and I must have eaten here around 10 times already for breakfast and lunch. The food is excellent, and that shouldn’t go understated, but the real appeal of the Regency Cafe is its charm and character. Before 10am you can have a relaxed breakfast at a reasonable price - after 10ish, the queue bumps up and the operation bumps up gears to match it. Often you leave the till, where you order, already with your plate of food. The atmosphere is friendly and buzzing, and the clients are a huge range of workmen, regulars, bougie newbies and many more. Truly a gem.
