Rosa's Carnaby in City of London

The staff were nice but the food had little taste and poor quality. The chicken was like rubber. Not as hygienic as it should be especially with covid-a waitress was cleaning tables, handling the card machine for payments, then making customer drinks and touching the tops of the straws and glasses. Without washing her hands she then touched the eating end of all the clean cutlery with her hands. My partner and I are now home with an upset stomach after eating in this restaurant. Do not recommend at all

Noodles were not great, also service could improve. They are very busy and it feels they are rushing for you to leave offering you the bill before you finish the drinks. I had better experience at other branches.

This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly and the food was soo good! We had the flat noodles, papaya salad and the deep fried prawns!

Noodles were amazing and the rice was good too but lacked a bit of flavour. The staff were lovely and thank you for the fresh chillies they definitely added the spice we were after.

I ordered a pot of tea and was told that the tea is charged per person, meaning if I drink it by myself then it’s just £3 but if my companion touched the tea cup, then it would be £6. So if 6 people touch this one pot of tea and had a sip each, it would have been a whopping £18 pot of tea! Isn’t the common sense commercial thing to do charge by pot, as you do with all the other items on the drinks menu like Thai iced tea, and if the group finishes the pot of tea and they order the second pot, then you can charge the 2nd pot. If that doesn’t feel profitable enough, then increase the price per pot of tea. Oh also, it’s not marked on the menu that the tea is charged per person, so one would assume it’s charged by portion as is every other item on the tea. Imagine if you order a glass of wine and if someone else tries a sip, the price doubles!What’s more infuriating though is that when I questioned the matter, the waitstaff said that’s the Asian value, as in every Asian restaurant would charge per person for the tea. I don’t believe that is true as a lot of Asian restaurants charge per pot or per cup or even offer it for free. I am also Asian so the way he said it was very personal and suggested that I don’t know my Asian values…Oh and the food is way too heavy on soy sauce and flavors.

Absolutely love the food at Rosas. Have been a regular customer for quite a while. The service is always impeccable and the food is mouthwatering.

Great service. Found the food bland towards the pallet I am used to in Asia. They have a large selection of both vegetarian and vegan options.

Great food as usual. Friendly staff that can't do enough to help and a wonderful ambience. Fully recommend to the one that likes authentic tasty Thai food. 👍👍
