My wife and I went with 2 friends, invited by our bank's concierge service as one of the restaurant takeovers that they invite us to sometimes. The food was superb, the room is airy and distinctively round, the tables are well spaced so you can talk without the room getting too loud. Michel introduced the menu to the room (full of concierge members) and answered Q&A at the end of the meal - a really lovely, authentic man who is so passionate about food but also his staff and the broader industry. A wonderful night out. I'll go again.

Nice restaurant with excellent service. The staffs were really friendly and make us feel comfortable. We went with baby and got private booth which was great. The food was just ok not wow for me not Michelin Star level(Egg for starter and Cod for main were not impressive), but desserts were the best. The lunch star deal from Book a table was really value but soft drinks were pricey. Would recommend for special occasions.

I took my wife here for her birthday (mainly as we are massive Michel Roux June fans) and we were not disappointed. Such a delicious, rich, indulgent meal. Amazing flavours. Great service and wine. One of the best meals we’ve had for a while.A highlight was the crispy hen egg starter. I also really enjoyed the duck breast.Highly recommended for a special meal.

Fantastic experience with good service. Good price for a michelin star-style restaurant with lunch courses started from £18 to a 6 course tasting menu. Presentation of the food was perfectly laid out with no flaws. Food such as the fish was perfectly cooked and had amazing texture. Free glass of champagne included for the booking offer! Would definitely come back again.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. You can enjoy a Michelin style service for a decent price. The three courses menu is at approximately 45 pounds and include a starter, a main, a dessert and two glasses of wine. We also add some complementary amuse bouche, home-made bread, side and chocolate. I definitely recommend this restaurant. A 6 courses tasting menu is also available.

Michel Roux’s restaurant, Roux at The Landau, offers amazing fine dining in Marylebone situated in the 5 star Langham Hotel. The restaurant was revamped earlier in the year bringing a more modern and fresh vibe. The beautiful wine counter takes centre stage, offering a relaxed space for sipping on a glass of wine whilst reading a newspaper or having a full meal with a friend. The menu remains focused on French cooking using great, seasonal British produce with a stripped back number of offerings. The restaurant offers an extensive selection of wine with over 500 different bottles available to sample by the glass. They have recently introduced ‘wine month’ where their talented sommeliers select one particular wine region highlighting interesting varieties each month.Accompanying our wine, we had to try some of snacks (as well as the complimentary bread). We had the:Isle of Mull cheddar gougères (£5.00)Crisp potato rösti, whisky smoked salmon (£6.00)Prosciutto San Daniele (£7.00)Croustilles of Obsiblue prawn, basil pesto (£9.00)We were so impressed with the quality and affordability of these delightful snacks. Our favourites were the cheddar gougeres which melted in your mouth with a strong cheesy taste and the salmon and crisp potato rosti which worked very well together. We felt so comfortable at the counter that we decided to have our main meal there. If that is not for you, there are cosy booths and smaller tables for diners. Our main dishes were the Day-boat Cornish cod, spinach, cockles, hen of the wood, seaweed butter (£26) and the Buccleuch beef fillet, salt baked beetroot, ox cheek, sauce “Royale” (£45) served with mash. The cod was flaky and smooth and complimented by the cockles and the delicious seaweed butter. The beef fillet was cooked perfectly medium, tender and juicy. Although the main meals come with a price tag (from £20 to £45), they are totally worth it for a special occasion. We finished off our wonderful meal with a tour of the La Fromagerie where the different cheeses were explained to us. Served with thin crispbread and bread, the combination of British and French cheeses was perfect. If that wasn’t enough, the complimentary chocolates were AMAZING – a mixture of white, dark, passion fruit, raspberry, vanilla and caramel! If you are looking for a fine dining restaurant in Marylebone or London generally, Roux at The Landau should be a top choice. The food, service and ambience were perfect and we felt very relaxed in such beautiful surroundings.

Fanatasic tasting meal, amuse bouche was a parmesan cheese sauce ball concoction, followed by salmon tar tar which was well balanced with the right amount of acidity to cut through. Then a fois gras parmesan soup/emulsion which was incredibly rich, perhaps my least favourite dish but still enjoyable, the incredible sourdough came to the rescue to break up the richness. Then we had the day boat cod, very fresh and served with spinach and a seafood sauce with hen of the wood mushrooms. The mushrooms were firm and had a slight meatiness about them which elevated the dish, my only criticism was perhaps a touch over seasoned with the salty seaweed sauce. The star dish followed, turbot with langoustines with a bisque sauce, incredible, perfectly cooked and really enjoyable. Bisque packed full of flavour which complimented and enhanced the dish. My wife went for the venison which she was equally pleased with. Then a pre dessert of kalamansi and chocolate, a citrus fruit I've never heard of, but very tasty, a clever take on chocolate and orange, the right amount of texture with some ice cream too which worked well. Then the last dish was served, a lovely marrons glacé soufflé, (candied chestnut) with a pear and honey sorbet, perfectly risen and firm but also creamy at the bottom with a nutty bite. Lastly some chocolate thins with our coffees, overall very enjoyable and will be returning. I also opted for the standard wine flight option which came with 5 glasses of wine which certainly complemented the dishes perfectly.

A superb restaurant!Beautiful setting, great atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food.Possibly the best ox cheek I’ve ever eaten, and the cheese board was wonderful.I’ve been a couple of times now, and I always come out of the restaurant feeling happy. The lunch menu is a steal at £30 for three courses. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Fantastic experience from beginning to end!My mum is a massive Roux fan so we booked this place for Christmas Eve.We had the Christmas a la carte menu which had something for everyone but with a distinctly Christmassy theme. The dining room was lovely and the atmosphere was elegant. Service was second to none, extremely attentive without being overbearing.Portions were small (as you would expect) but more than compensated by the quality of the produce which was treated with upmost respect in perfectly executed dishes.Highly recommend for special occasions!
