Royal Indian Delivery in City of London

Can only comment from my own experience but last Thursday evening my wife and I had an amazing meal here. Service was excellent (&friendly). Would highly recommend & I’m quite fussy!

The food was just about edible. Lacked seasoning and it was served lukewarm. Couldn't find any other place available in the busy Covent Garden area but of you can, save yourself a disappointment and skip this place.

We normally have excellent meals from this restaurant, however today’s meals were very disappointing. All agreed they were way below the standard this restaurant normally serves. There was little taste and the chicken was very tough.

I been so many times in this place. The food was so good and the flavour was really good 👍. Service excellent. Hygiene 5💫 . Food 5💫. Staff5💫.Definitely be back soon for next attempt. 👌

Very average. The restaurant is a bit tired and in need of a revamp. I had to send the lamb dish back as they had put so little lamb in it. Vindaloo only had a taste of vinegar. Poor for the price. The staff were nice, so hence the two stars.

Nice, well lit and nicely laid out restaurant, friendly staff. Ordered the lamb and veg biryanis, along with wine and beer. Food was nicely cooked, enjoyable flavours. Prices are comparable to the area. Would go again!

Needs a refresh, of decor but great food and very pleasant staff. Wanted a Baileys, they didn't have any so the owner went out to buy a bottle. Can't get better than that. They now know how to make a baby Guinness.

We walked in without a booking and were instantly seated by a really friendly member of staff. All the food was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. the service was fast and friendly all around, would definitely recommend!

Food was OK, definitely not great but some of the curries we ordered were pretty nice (while others were bland/over cooked meat). Service was atrocious, I understand that restaurants are struggling to hire staff, but they should at least warn customers to expect a one hour+ wait time. We even waited 50 minutes for pappadums before I got up and asked for them. Some of our drinks never even arrived, and had to ask a few times to get water. When I paid, I corrected the waiter on the price of the rice - I wouldn’t think anything of it but I’ve since read another review that alleges that the menu given to guests and the menu used to tally up the bill are different - so I would check if I were you.

A group of 7 ordering meals, a 'set' menu was offered. The service was shocking and the wait for food was severely long. Food was cold and caused one member of the party to be sick. When ordering the 'dessert' part of our menu, on offer was ice cream or coffee. All members went for coffee. The gentleman used a spoon with force to break up the coffee in the tub, that had clearly gone hard. When questioned and viewed the coffee was 18 months out of date. The so called manager wasn't available to speak to. The men weren't not for reducing or compromising the bill until trading standards were mentioned due to the out of date coffee. I would not recommend anyone to go.
