They deserve less than one star , the staff are impolite , the food was not cooked well my family suffered from stomach after eat , overpriced although they have bad services they add 15% service charge and they didn't inform the customers will add this charges, worst customer services ever

My friend and I went there last night and we really regret that. We've ordered shishlik, the skewers kebab were uncooked in one side, it was obvious that were old. Lamb chops were burnt, not clean. Been charged for table bit there was No service at all. I think they need to be trained by looking at some persian, turkish restaurants to get to know the idea how to treat the customers. That was my first time, but I will never ever go back there and I will never recommend to nobody else.

Worst food ever……had heard a lot about this place, so wanted try the food here. Hummus tasted a lot of tahina. Falafels were dry and stale. Ghormeh sabzi the lamb was definitely very old, and very dry and rubbery. The pomfret fish was just plain fried, no flavours no seasoning. Kubbah was tasteless and nothing special at all. The rice and naan bread very the only edible bits in the whole order! They serve ketchup and a very cheap quality chilli sauce on the side as condiments. Overall definitely not worth at all. The total damage was £60+……and you can easily eat very good Iranian/ Mediterranean/ Arabic food in half the price elsewhere. Strongly suggest especially to tourists, please do not eat here and waste your money. Might try Masgouf a nearby place on my next visit to Edgware road……

If there's anything less than one star I would've give it. I was just visiting London for couple of days and I asked a friend to check middle eastern restaurants in the area. We went to Edgware road and I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. I will discuss all elements of my review below:Welcoming: very poor, most staff or you can say head staff have repulsive attitude to the point that you feel unappreciated.Quality of food: below average, nothing special. Infact, when you are met with such bad attitude you lose your appetite!Prices: very high. Not worth it. You pay 6 GBP for small Hummus plate! Also, 15% service charge - which is way high, in comparison to other restaurants in the area.I don't recommend this restaurant at all and I do suggest for the management to reconsider their attitude towards customers because this was a very bad experience.

The place doesn’t look very nice and it is small, but the food is delicious. I recommend everyone to try this place.

·

I had a very bad experience. The food was not fresh and they charged me more than what I ordered. I do not recommend.

·

Unfortunately the food was not as expected. The chicken and rice were not fresh and seemed to have been stored for a while as they lost the flavour.

Few analytical points.1- as an Iraqi, the Iraqi kebab couldn’t be any further away in authenticity. Did not taste like Iraqi kebab nor did it have the same tender texture, they also had a banner asking for a grill chef, so that proves my point.2- barely any food came to the table. 5 minutes down the same road, there are about 5 Iraqi restaurants whom provide humus, pickled vegetables, salad, tzatziki, lentil soup and bread, all free comedy’s with whatever you order.3- premium price for the food but not a single reason as to why, location isn’t that premium nor the restaurant neither the food, I simply don’t know how to justify the pricing. I would make sense in a market with no competitors, but as I said there are about 5 in the same street.4- and there was a service charge on top of that, what the heck am I paying service charge for, this isn’t Nobu with 100 employees, it’s a family run business. Finally, the staff where really nice and friendly, but people go to restaurants to eat not to communicate. This place simply have priced itself out of the market, hence having as little as three four customers at a time(unlike the competitors where there’s almost always a queue to get a table)Hope this feedback is queried upon cuz I really think if the above points are worked on the restaurant will be acquiring more customers and profit.

This restaurant has good food but they are thieves. Although I don't recommend it but in case you want to try, compare the receipt prices with the menu. I was ripped of over £20 when I checked the menu.

I was close to Marble Arch and wanted a nice place to have dinner. Walked down to Saffron. It was lovely and warm. Staff were friendly. I got hummus and bread for my starter. The bread was a little thin and crunchy for my liking. The main was lovely, it was a chicken shish (a variation of the Turkish shish). I would have liked to have had homemade chilli sauce or salsa but instead they bottles of hot sauce. If you’re around Edgware Road then I would recommend this place. Prices are a bit higher than some of the other places offering the same food but it’s just about within reason. Lastly, there is a 15% service charge.
