Senator Restaurant in City of London

I think the food is top quality and i have been ordering from this restaurant almost every week and never had any issue with the quality and service . Well done guys and keep it up . Definitely recommend them

Giving 1 star because it looked ok at first. Worst Iranian food I've ever had in my entire life. The meat tasted more than a week old. The food arrived super fast, either they are serving left over cold food or they must be miracle workers if they can grill meat and deliver all in 15 mins.Restaurant owner screamed at me when I complained and said I will never be allowed to order from them again. OH NO:'( :'( you can't do that to me! Now where am I going to get terrible food from??? Have to find a new place to waste my money on. :'(Not sure how you got 4.2 or have regular customers? These people are in desperate need for taste bud transplants.

Ordered for the first time from here based on the good reviews. Food arrived within 20 minutes so we were quite surprised as we were told it would take 45 minutes. The chicken tasted old and smelled bad and was probably reheated. The barg was so hard and dry and also reheated, the Chejeh tasted awful, the meat was so hard and chewy and tasted off. The tomato was mouldy! We called to complain and were told that if we have had more than one spoonful then we’re not gonna get a refund! We were threatened with this. Whilst we waited for the driver to come to check if we didn’t have more than one spoonful, we found a screw in the salad! When they came to check on the food, we told them about the screw and were told this happens and also were accused of lying and putting the screw in there ourselves! This is completely unacceptable, awful, mouldy, old inedible food, threatening and rude service, no apology. Will be reporting this to the department of food health and safety. Will not be ordering from here again. Don’t waste your time or money

Great food and the perfect service. This place serves some of the most authentic and delicious iranian food. I can not recommend it enough.

Absolutely love this place. Delicious food (The koobideh in particular is my favourite, so juicy and flavoursome!), quick service and the staff are always very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We had great traditional breakfast there. Plenty of food and well priced. The freshly made bread was very delicious.

We ordered takeaway and went to collect the food ourselves, since we live nearby. The staff member was somewhat cold and impatient during the interaction despite the restaurant being almost empty.Our order of chicken and lamb kebabs (chello kabab bakhtiyari, which seems to only be available on Just Eat and not the menu on the restaurant’s website) was okay, although I didn’t think £22 was good value for money, as I expected a bit more meat. The rice and taftoon were quite nice, however.

We have ordered their mixed grill through just eat and the food came with only 1 skewer of chicken instead of two and instead of two rice they have given us one . Rubbish quality and the meat stinks really bad not fresh at all. It’s not recommended at all.

Just served a lot of plain rice as seen in the photo’s barley any meat, meat was dry and tasteless, you can count how many prawns have been provided on one hand, each dish was nearly £17.00- so basically paid approximately £40 for plain white rice.
