Fresh juices were a bit expensive, the food was good and portions are very generous for what you pay. Desert was decent. We went at lunch time on Sunday and the staff didn't have anyone else to serve so were initially very attentive but then became a bit uninterested later on. I would recommend it just for the over the top seating area which the kids loved and adds to the ambience of the place

A couple was on a date the day my friends and I visited. It would have been a good decision to choose Shishawi for this kind of activity, if it wasn’t for the management and service teams’ absolutely abysmal attempts to provide a somewhat pleasant experience. We ordered our food, and when it came time for drinks I asked the waiter for tap water. He said that they ‘didn’t offer tap water’ because the tap had been broken for the past few days because they were ‘busy’ like today. If you can see by the picture I posted with this review, if the staff is stretched thin by us and three other customers in the restaurant, maybe the manager should save money on seating and spend it on a plumber instead. It wasn’t all bad though, the chefs were one of the only redeeming qualities of the restaurant. The food was delicious and very well priced for the restaurant’s central London location. The interior was also very beautiful, the design of which clearly kept the Egyptian cuisine in mind. There was even a long fish tank near the entrance of the restaurant. However it was devoid of water (probably slurped up by all the thirsty customers that begged for precious water previously).Other minor inconveniences arose such as £2 for a small water bottle or that the restaurant, which sits in the centre of the very busy Edgeware Road, was cash only. However the food was overall good and good enough for me to consider having again, although it would have to be ordered home since the experience at the restaurant was quite frankly just jarring.

Best restuarznr ever in London for halal food. The staff especially the polish lady welcomed us lovely. Food was more than perfect! For me it's one of the best memories in London.

My first visit to this reasonably priced restaurant, lovely traditional middle Eastern decor and seating. Nice and welcoming friendly staff. Good fresh food will definitely recommend 👌

This is not the 1st I have been here, the food is always on point, service wasn't the best yesterday but it's all about the food, and very reasonable price. Will visit again soon 👍👍👍👍👌👌😃😃

Food was delicious, we ordered mixed shawarma plates. Portion size was OK. Food was slightly cold but staff were happy to reheat. Staff was very helpful and kind. We were given complimentary tea after our meals. They only accept cash not card.

Beautiful setting, with friendly staff. Its a well established venue with ample seating, good food and also a wide range of shisha flavours. Food is tasty and fresh, but pricey (central London, Edgware road after all). Big bonus is that its 24/7!

The Seabass is excellent!! (5/5)We got the Seabass (5/5), Mixed Grill (3/5), and Houmous (3/5).Even though the food was a little on the expensive side, it was really good, and the young waiter was very helpful.I wouldn't recommend sitting outside though (we did because the weather was excellent). If you sit outside, you will be constantly bothered by beggars hard selling their products. Shishawi could be more attentive on beggars disturbing customers, as it can ruin your meal experience. That would be a great improvement.
