Extremely tasty Ramen noodles. Absolutely delicious salty goodness. The waiters were highly sociable and polite. Good hygiene practises. I definitely recommend going here if you're craving some Asian food.

Food was genuinely as good as anything I've ever tasted from this cuisine.Staff were lovely and for the most part very efficient.I think you need to be clearer with opening times and when food stops vs when the restaurant closes as its not very clear. A bit more clarity would prevent any confusion. Will definitley visit again

As always Shoryu ramen doesn't disappoint! The presentation of the gyouza was the best, it doesn't look like this in all the other restaurants so I was surprised when I saw it and they were so good!! I always order takoyaki as well, spicy or not, they are very good!

Had a awful experience, the moment I walked in one of the waiter told she’ll look for a table for me. However when person in charge came her attitude towards us was incredibly rude. When the waitress told the person in charge that the table was available for them she kept ignoring her. At that point I wanted to leave but stayed as it was my friends first time at Shoryu. When the waiter had taken our order he snatched the menu off my friend and did not bother asking back what we ordered. We ended up with the wrong order. The person in charge was I believe was the manager was incredibly rude, she kept ignoring us and didn’t bother to check up on us. The waitress then came to us and I had told her that I was not happy with the service my friend and I received. This company need to train their management team. This is not the first time I had experienced this at Liverpool St Branch. The waitress I had today was amazing she was really busy but still had time to listen to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I will come here again as I liked the service she gave to us!The food is always amazing here, would recommend you to try their food. However I do wish they put more octopus in their takoyaki balls!

Takoyaki Tuesdays!I know, I know... I was there for the ramen too!!Perfect for this cold weather! Silky broth, umami and satisfying. As soon as our food was served we started to slurp down the ramen noodles and the broth. Ugh! Made me so happy to have that as my first meal of the day!As a professional 🤣 i gave the takoyaki time to cool or else I wouldve burned my tongue again. The takoyaki was crunchy on the outside and the filling was lovely. Octopus balls with vegetables topped with tangy kewpie mayo and salty bonito flakes. Oishi ♥️We booked a table but they allowed us to dine in as we arrived earlier than scheduled.Secluded location but that made the vibes very homey and cosy. Situated near stores and the train station!

Food - 2/5Service - 5/5Cost - 3/5Ambience - 3/5The takoyaki (octopus balls) were the best dish and only one I really enjoyed. I found the chicken wings to be dry and flavourless; they merely tasted like flour but they were very crispy. The ramen was disappointing because it was bland. The service was great, quick and friendly so I’d probably come here again based on that and maybe just for 4 plates of takoyaki. The cost was fair but the ramen may be slightly overpriced for the quality. The ambience was also fine. It was lively and did get louder as the place filled up. I found the tables to be way too close to each other which made me uncomfortable. The person who sat on the table to my left even knocked my bag over because we were so close. It does get pretty busy even on a weekday so I would recommend booking ahead.

This is one of the nicer Shoryu restaurants, and it's tucked away behind Liverpool Street Station. From the moment we stepped in an our host hit the drum announcing our welcome, the service was friendly and smooth. This time around we were only there for drinks and a snack but we will definitely be back through the autumn winter season to enjoy the warm cosy atmosphere and service. We received our drinks quickly, and I will return again an again for the festive gingerbread sake! It's so delicious and sweet, I will hands down choose it over any other drink on the menu and will have it as often as I can before the season is out. We also ordered some karaagae and wings which came out piping hot and fresh. The have specials on Mondays where you can get 2 bao buns for the price of one, and on Tuesdays, there's an offer for Takoyaki. I can wait to try these. We didn't have ramen this time round, but from my experience Shoryu has pretty tasty offerings. The bowls are big and well garnished, and the broth is delicious, with the customary thin layer of fat on top which just adds to the richness of the whole dish.

A good spot to know about if you’re wanting some filling Japanese food before your train. Good prices and plenty of indoor seating, this is a safe bet. Would recommend the signature ramen!

I ordered the ramen with sea food, it was very good. However, the attention was terrible, the host was very rude to us and others (a group of people waiting for a table left over the bad manners of the receptionist/host). We ordered some things that didn’t arrived but were charged for at the end (they took it out once we told them). We were excited to come eat here and will definitely not return.

The chef very kindly agreed to make the veggie ramen spicy! It was certainly yummy. Would like to see more vegetarian options on the menu! The buns are excellent!
