Southgate Kebab in City of London

Waited for ages to get a kabab.. they forgot the chips and left it on side for 15 minutes while they faffed about - I just walked out as not paying for a stone cold kabab. Terrible service!

Not a good experience, soggy chips I asked for the dinner well done as well. Had to pick it up as well. Won't be ordering again.

DON’T BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEY!I placed an order for collection at Southgate kebab. The chips were re-heated the doner meat was dry, and tasted mouldy. I have been going to this kebab shop for years. It has gone down hill.They don’t stop to think about there customers and the quality of there food. They are too busy thinking of money and being greedy!I would not recommend going to this kebab shop I have wasted my money on absolute dog food. The prices have gone sky high and the food portion have got smaller and smaller. I went and brought the food back to them and the manager gave me nothing but abuse and laughed in my face. He also refused to give me a refund and accused me for it.PLEASE AVOID AVOID!!!!

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. It’s obvious that it has changed ownership as the quality and quantity of the portions of the kebabs have taken a dive. Only the price has gone up! Shame to ruin the years of built up reputation of this place. Gave it enough chances, but they insist on bad quality. Last time I bought I put it straight into the bin, not going to repeat that again. Listen to your customers!

Standard, par for course experience - a typical'Turkish' kebab experience. Underflavoured meat, boring salad choices.However, the place is clean, reliable and not overpriced. Additionally, it stays open late. A bog standard choice.

This used to be the best kebab house for miles. We've eaten here for like 20 years but I'm really sad to say it's noticeably gone downhill. Prices have gone up, quality and flavour down and it's a passable so so at best these days. For what you sold before I would've paid these prices but not for what we've gotten the last three or four times.

Bought 2 mix kebab wraps from this place, got home and they gave us two kebab doners with pitta bread. We call to explain their mix up and was met with nothing but abuse from the manager trying to make out it was our fault. On top of that mix up and poor customer service, the doner meat was hard and tough. Absolute dog food ! Not fit for human consumption. Please avoid.

I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!I used to go to this restaurant a lot and it was one of the best kebabs shops that I know off. The service was good and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, within a space of a couple of months the food quality has gone down, the prices have gone up. I ordered for collection and saw them re-heating the chips. The food was cold. The chips are re-heated the doner meat is dry. The restaurant is disgusting. I wouldn’t suggest wasting your money on this restaurant. I won’t ever be going back here again.

I have been going to this kebab house for years and always been great, unfortunately they quality has more then slipped! My chicken doner had loads of burnt bit, thick cut and loads of fat on it. Also asked for chilli and garlic sauce and only got garlic.The last time I ordered they got the order wrong and sent us someone else's food. I think they need to do less opening hours and work on providing customers with decent food. Will not be using them again

Worst place to have a kebab. They will rip you off. I paid £8 for chicken doner but when I reached home, all I could find was fries inside the box. See the pics. No bread, no dips/sauce. I have never seen such a poor doner in my life. The value for money is zero. I will definitely avoid this place.
