We had a work team meal, it was nice but lacked atmosphere, mains were better than the starters, paratha was good

·

Super tasty food. Lovely staff and great service. The best balti I’ve had and my family loved the lamb koria

As a food writer and a former restaurateur I am very fussy about eating Indian cuisine in City and close to the border of Brick Lane, about which Charles Campian said it all few years back! But my recent visit to Spice Trader with a long time friend was a wonderful experience with an unique preparation of cuisine and efficient service. Spicing of food is simply divine and perfect to the palate. Reasonably priced for the City and good value for money!

·

Excellent curry. Lovely little place & not too expensive. Really great place to visit. Located near the sky garden so great for an evening out.

Had a delightful meal here. King prawn bhuna was spot on. The prawns were just right and the bhuna sauce tasted fresh although on a personal level I'd have preferred it to be a bit spicier. My companions chicken tikka was moist and succulent. Vegetables were nicely cooked and maintained their crunchiness. Sadly we were the only ones eating there at 8pm.

Very tasty, ok prices, good portion sizes.
