St James of Bermondsey in City of London

I've been to this pub for the first time just few days ago while visiting a friend in the area, plan was having just a couple of pints and go somewhere else for dinner but we ended up spending there the whole afternoon and evening! Diogo was super nice and helpful, and the manager Barbara very professional while friendly and funny! The food was good and tasty, I will definitely come back!

So came in, like an idiot left my phone on the side, the lovely members Athena and Diego noticed that bad boy and kept it and saved it for me, lovely staff, great venue, recommend to a friend!

This place is a hidden gem, friendly team, nice decor, great choice of decent local craft beers and a beautiful garden/sun trap out through back.

We hired the private room for our engagement party and it was just perfect. Great room, service and sound system too. Thanks Barbara and team!

Wow what an amazing mothership moo pie and mash cooked and served by Leanne food was delicious she was very welcoming seated us quickly an food wasn't long to wait as we was very hungry I'll defo be back again to try more pies 😊

Elegant Victorian pub - redesigned with contemporary aesthetics and Sky Sports on the TVs throughout, including one in the beer garden. Pie’s from Pieminister and a choice selection of decent Pale Ale’s. Diego and team also very friendly creating a welcoming atmosphere for the Bermondsey area.

If you like a pie and a pint.. this is your spot. Really nice food and they have the tank beer from Meantime which is as fresh as it gets.

Leanne recommended the Moo and Blue, and it was 10/10. Great pies, great service, and of course great beers! We will be back!

So where do I start. Leane was the best waitress I’ve ever had. Recommended the best pie. 10/10 pie and mash. Holy moly. Coming here tomorrow.
