Strada - St Pauls in City of London

Delicous and frash food. Great Italian restauran right next to the Cathedral with an excelent view. I have been there with my husband and we were very satisfied. Very helpful and friendly staff. They gave us a great table when we went inside :)

Terrible, worst Strada I've eaten in. Service was slow, they messed up the order, two wrong dishes. Food was below the normal level of Strada. The mistake for the wrong dishes was removed from the bill but wouldn't eat at this Strada any time soon.

My wife and I have eaten here about a half dozen times in the past 3 months. Every time has been fantastic. The food is incredibly well prepared, fresh and consistent. Calamari is always perfectly cooked, the Antipasti plate is great and we never leave without having one of their great deserts. Staff is super friendly. You would think it would be touristy being across from St. Paul's but it is a solid place to eat.

For a chain restaurant had great Italian fare. This was our first formal dining while in UK during a recent trip. Would recommend to others. Considering the location was reasonably priced. Though we didn’t have reservations they were able to get us in quickly and service was quicker than most European restaurants we experienced. Eating in Europe is a different experience than in US where it’s in and out. There it’s an event.

To be in this area is not expensive at all, the place is nothing spectacular tho. The pizzas and the meals won't solve your problem if you are really hungry. This place is italian oriented and it's not a place you have to avoid neither one I would recommend to people. Just a average place.

Strada is one of the better Italian chain restaurants, but this branch could be a little better. When I visited the staff seemed a little "off", not exactly welcoming but were efficient rather than friendly. The food was good and I'll definitely return to Strada, just maybe not this one.

The restaurant itself was fine and the staff were professional, if a little stoic. It was the food that was the disappointment. The wine was positively cold; not what I'd expect for a full-bodied red. The tomatoes on the bruschetta were also very cold and a little mushy. The pizza had a lovely, light base, but the sauce was overly sweet and lacked the bright, natural flavour you'd expect. For such simple dishes I would expect more.
