Staff are confused and clueless. Ok fish and chips. Really freaking expensive

Really good fish n chips. Nice staff. Shop us nice and clean.

How is this place allowed to operate? The fish is sitting under a heat lamp (who knows how long ago it was fried), the chips were put in the box from under the counter (presumably sitting in another heated box) and the old bloke at the counter is beyond rude, no mask, no gloves. Chips were stale and tasteless, fish hasn’t been breaded properly so the inside of it is swimming in oil. Had to throw the whole thing out from fear of food poisoning. Waste of money, claims to be the best fish and chips in the area, if that’s the case then I feel bad for the people who live here.

I tried the Hodok which was nice . Potato also was nice. Not so much oily. Dry and good. Price reasonable for London. Food was made fresh dor us. Worth trying if you are in one of the hotels in the area.

I go here regularly, the chips are excellent, the haddock very nice too, sometimes a small wait. The staff always very respectful and polite, would recommend!

Chips were soggy and greasy, fish tasted like it was fried in the sweat and grease obtained from the foul putrid forehead of the owner. I have dined in thousands of restaurants, the customer service here was by far the worse I have ever received. When the owner took our order he just grunted and looked at us as though he wanted to murder us. When I left I foolishly thanked him, which I immediately regretted because he returned my thanks with a filthy look and simply walked off. Should be shut down, what a disgrace.

A bit pricy but good quality fish and chips

Good taste if you like fish and chips. Options of different fishes. They do have a grill one.

Very good fish and homemade chips. We could choose in many kinds of fishes. There are also other possibilities like chicken. The prices are very fair. Good service is a plus.
