Thai Cafe & Restaurant in City of London

No - this place does not have alcohol or WC's and you need to pay with cash (albeit not very much!), but if you're looking for delicious tasting food at great value, this place simply has to be given five stars. It is better food than some Thai restaurants costing several times the price. I have eaten here dozens of times and cannot wait to go again!

Takeaway or eat in for a quid extra, standard price a fiver for a range of quasi Thai/Chinese style dishes served in a plastic tub with spicy or jasmine rice - friendly and helpful staff - short walk down Brewer Street from Regent Street end.

This place got me curious because it usually its really busy, which for me suggests something positive. So today was my 1st time to some food from here. Much to my surprise is how reasonable the prices are, I went for the spicy beef which was really nice but not as spicy as i expected.Overall great price.Great foodGreat service, will be back.

Popped in to try takeaway having read online about this place. One veggie option which was veg green curry. Very tasty and appropriately spiced, and plenty of it. Would be even better if they had another appropriate selection for veggies, and recyclable containers. There is a queue out the door, very popular spot, bring cash.

Fantastic little thai cafe serving authentic dishes. Me and my friend had a pad gra pow which the chili and basil stir fry, pad see euw noodles with chicken and prawn and a pad cha which is made with pangasius fillets. All were delicious. The 2 stir fries also came with rice and for 7 to 8 pounds per dish it is fantastic value for money. Everytime I'm in London and want a tasty meal and want to save the pounds this is where I'll come. Far better than Kiln which is just down the road from here.

Very tasty spicy rice with curries. I like the chicken green curry but the massaman curry was a bit of a let down. It tasted too watery, not what I've expected from an authentic massaman curry. I'd expect the curry to be richer in flavour with a greater hint of coconut milk. Overall a good portion size at the price of £5.90 for 2 toppings.

Great food for an amazing value! Such a cute little restaurant in the prime location! The portion were sufficient and food was tasty and came very quickly.

Cheap and cheerful and definitely one of the best choices in this area if you are looking to eat for around £5. Super-generous portions. Not licensed, which means no alcohol. It's about time you cut down a bit anyway.
