Thai Square - Trafalgar Square in City of London

Start of by saying the food was amazing. I can't fault anything we had. Decor in the place was also amazing, really enjoyed the ambience and the feel of the restaurant. Biggest let down was service, one girl knew what was going on but was very busy serving all the tables upstairs. Everyone who came up had to check table numbers, drinks were served wrong, long periods of time without any service, a great meal just needed extra with the service side.

Umm well the butterfly prawns and the sweet and sour prawn dish is actually quite tasty. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming. I only gave 3 stars because I had a chicken dish that I could not swallow. The chicken was a no for me and my friend.

I ain't gonna lie, we stopped by this place simply because my girlfriend needed to pee and we were not even that hungry but we definitely fell in love with the food. We'll most certainly come back again soon.I must also add that I hardly contained myself not to steal a wine glass. Nice selection of wine and prosecco glasses fellas!

Full of beautiful and traditional decor on the outside and in. This is great restaurant, especially to mark a special occasion. Took my mother here for her birthday. The dishes were great. I shared the mixed starters and has stir fried basil for main course with brown rice. The portions were at a reasonable size and were delicious. The service was also great.

Everything was ok but pricey for what it was. The chicken skewers in the mixed starters platter were dry and so was the tamarind duck. Pad Thai was good after adding some chili sauce. Will likely try some other Thai restaurants in London before revisiting Thai Square.

The ambience and service was good..but food was not as expected. Can be improved. Have had better thai food at other places.

My wife and I were lucky enough to get a table on Saturday at 6pm without booking after seeing a show. First impressions of the restaurant were good as we were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The decor is contemporary and we felt very relaxed. We ordered the aromatic duck to share which was very nice along 2 glasses of red. For our main course we ordered the beef black bean stir fry and the lamb shank penang, these were both delicious. The lamb fell off the bone with a tasty balanced sauce. The stir fry beef was thinly cut and tender.Overall we found our experience to be faultless and would return again the future.

My favourite Thai restaurant in London. The menu is incredible (I wish they would bring back the fried aubergine with lemon grass dish- I miss it!)I used to celebrate my birthday here every year. They cater for large parties, and gatherings.The central location is fantastic. The building is beautiful. The restaurant is large, open spaced and airy. Great decor and modern bathroom facilities.The menu and food is lovely. The set menus available are excellent for parties.They cater for those with allergies (like me!- and they cater for vegans too)I am very thankful for this restaurant, I have had many great memories here over the years. The opening hours are extensive. I’ve never been turned away without a booking.The staff are lovely. They manage to serve everyone in the restaurant with a small efficient team. They always smile and give good menu recommendations.They accept Amex - it makes me like the restaurant even more!Thank you for being such a wonderful restaurant.

Not like I remember, it has been quite a while since I was last here! Food is OK, I'd recommend the drunken noodles (lovely), drinks/cocktails are good, but maybe it's the day or time we went, seems to be missing that little something. I hope as things start to get back, this place gets back its vibe because it deserves it. The staff are nice enough and one of my party said they've got good restroom music to dance to!
