The cocktails were ok, they were definitely not the best cocktails we have had, but they are definitely on the better side of average. We didn't have food only cocktails. The staff were professional and polite but the service was mediocre. In my opinion considering the cocktails are not brilliant, they are a little on the pricey side, but hey, I guess it's expensive, keeping those walls clad in so much bamboo.Sadly the woman, who I think was probably the shift leader did the bar a disservice in the way she asked for payment and this irrated me a lot. Which in turn, made me scrutinise the bill, which to be fair was not the easiest task in that dim light.Beware dear drinker that for every drink you buy they ADD A 5% SERVICE CHARGE. The bill is presented as a done deal, there is no indication that this 5% service charge is a voluntary tax and you DON'T HAVE TO PAY IT.I queried this additional charge and was told the owner was concerned that the staff work so hard but weren't making a lot from their tips. So from the goodness of the owners heart (gawd bless em) they decided, to add this service charge onto every bill. I checked that the staff get a wage, and they said that they are paid by the hour and they get all the tips.I was also told that staff work late, in addition to this, the service charge motivates them to work harder and this is why they deserve to be tipped. Umm just saying, but nurses work super hard, they even do night shifts, they save lives and they aren't asking for tips.If the owner, genuinely felt that the staff were underpaid then surely they should increase the staffs wages, but instead it's up to customers to fill that gap. To suggest that it motivates staff to work hard is nonsensical if it's not clear that the service charge is voluntary and it absolutely does not say that either on the bill. It's not that I dislike tipping, but if I'm not given the choice that's when it becomes infuriating. If you do want to have brilliant cocktails, try the Dark Horse in Bath, then you will know why I've rated The Beachcomber a 2!

We found this place because our hotel was around the corner. It was a nice experience. Walking in it felt like an LSD trip with the extraordinarily mesmerising decor. The cocktails had fun names, they tasted good and were served in cool skull glasses. Probably a lot of ice in the glass for the money you pay but overall very pleased, and although the place was quite empty, there was a nice atmosphere and fitting music. Would probably come back!

Fantastic spot with a super awesome vibe and great drinks. Love their food collab with a neighboring Thai spot. The drinks hit high marks on taste and originality while paying homage to tiki classics. The space is inviting and cozy while feeling very chill but not sleepy. There are plenty of Easter eggs and tiki-isms throughout that easily has me placing this bar on my will pop in again list for the next time I’m in London.

Come here for the drinks, stay for the chill vibe and friendly atmosphere. Somehow, everyone in here made me feel like I was hanging out at the neighborhood bar with old friends.Wow, the cocktails were delicious and a visual treat. Will definitely be returning here next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Lovely experience in this cocktail bar. The drinks are almost all rhum based but they also have other options. The bartender is expert and his mix are great. Atmosphere is lovely and it feels to be back in central America.

Great venue, the most friendly bartender and the floor staff. This place is a nice little spot in Bayswater, best selection of cocktails and the great knowledge of bartenders about different drinks. We have had fun since we just randomly crashed in there after work.Special thanks to Georgie, Alex, Majid, Vanshika, Callum 🙂 we couldn’t have great time if these people weren’t there. Extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. We will be visiting them soon and would highly recommend them.Once again, thanks for your hospitality and will see you soon.Best wishes and love ❤️

Cool little tiki bar, decent drinks at not bad prices (for London). Would've liked to tip, maybe set up a contact less tip jar as I never have cash and ee we didn't get the chance when paying the bill.

Such a cute hideaway near Paddington station. They have a rating system for their cocktails which really helped pick whether you wanted lots of alcohol or flavour. Really nice staff and great decor.
