Super cozy, dimly lit, friendly pub. Just a couple of gr8 European beers on tap and excellent staff! A regular!

Had a builders Xmas drink and food. They only had 2 groups of people here is ( 11 people and the other about 4. ) Well spaced out and to be honest pleased with how they followed the rules 👍🎅

This place just doesn't come across as a pub. Plastic covered seats and magnolia walls. Looks like it's been chopped and changed a ton. Is the wooden bar original? Doesn't look a day over 10 years old. Paulaner on tap brings it back up to two stars.

A lovely simple pub. Perfect place to chew the rag with my boy, before catching a movie at The Everyman opposite. ("French Dispatch", if you're curious.)

·

I go there regularly with colleagues. Great selection of beer and their truffle chips are something to die for. The burger comes with chips at a very reasonable price

·

Decent enough though very dated inside but that doesn't really matter when it fills up. Good service and nice array of beers on tap

Stopped here for a print. Great pub and friendly guy who served. Definitely call back here when I'm down again. Recommend.

Lovely pub ... the staff just make it... they are cool and kind and pour the best guiness in town. The pub itself is just a one room box really... the decor is tired and the bee quotes are bait... but the staff are amazing.

Called in for a quick pint with a colleague while down in London on business in January 2020.Seemed an okay pub, clean and tidy, but although not very busy at all didn’t get a friendly welcome from the bar maid – simply told they didn’t accept cash. No explanation, no apology, no further comment. The beer was okay, but we chose to sit outside given the lack of staff warmth inside.Based on that one visit alone - I would not recommend and would not call in again if in the area; plenty of other pubs available.

This pub doesn’t really work for me. Too bright and a fairly soulless interior. The bar staff, and they seem to turnover a lot, are always friendly but generally inexperienced - which doesn’t help the rating.Decent selection of beers but some of the prices are surprisingly high - even by Marylebone standards.Clearly subjective but, for me, far better pubs within a 250 meter walk.
