Cosy pub with live music on Saturdays (I think) and Santa Maria Pizzas from the kitchen next door.

There are plenty of pubs round Brentford but we rarely go to any but our top two, Brewery Tap and Black Dog. The Tap is a really friendly local, superbly run by the lovely Annie. It's good place for a drink by the water in good weather and you can order excellent pizzas from Santa Maria as well as a good range of drinks. I really like the IPA and my wife finds the house red very palatable. The star attraction at the Tap is the music. Subject to Covid restrictions they often have bands playing there. Last night we really enjoyed Robert Hokum and the Great West Groove, playing bluesy music.

We weren't allowed into the pub, so it was outside only which was OK, had nice atmosphere apart from the stink of drains. The toilets were portaloos outside which were awful! I've been to this pub lots of times in the past and it's great, with different music on different nights, great atmosphere and great staff. A proper traditional pub. Hope it returns soon

My favourite pub. It is family owned and I alway have the warmest welcome! Great beer selection and we can get pizza from Santa Maria delivered to our table. They often have live music. Lot of attention is paid also to make the pub covid secure. Location by the canal and lovely evening atmosphere.

Late July '21 there was no indoor seating, but tables under awnings in the road* outside. Weather was a bit pants but the service ( via phone app) was quick and cheerful. Catering by Santa Maria pizza was first rate. Minus one star for the horrible portaloos. *The road leads to Brentford Dock and the artists' studios by the river, so passing traffic was... Colourful

Unique pub setting with loads of classic cars dotted around. The only slight limitation was I thought the drinks menu was limited (maybe this is due to COVID and them having less items available at the moment). Be great to have an IPA available; only seemed to be Lagers or Real Ales.

Quaint little pub with a pool room. Lots of character and someone with a good sense of humour writes the signs outside. Shame no view of the water but you can't have everything 😊

The friendliest pub in London. The best hidden treasure of west London - and now without the sticky carpets! The new owners are delightful and the beer is excellent. You can spend a day here and come out with a degree in multiple unexpected aspects of life.
