Lovely pub with amazing selection of beers and drinks, food was delicious too (although we only ordered bar food). 1 star lost due to inattentive staff that evening sadly, they were a little bit too busy talking amongst themselves on a quiet night to notice hand waving at them.

Fantastic setting near the canal - wonderful sipping rose in the winter sun. Absolutely delicious katsu chicken burger - fresh, good bun and perfect chips.

We booked a table to have Sunday lunch. We turned up at our booking, to be told there was No Sunday lunch, with no explanation, as to why. We then rang around a few pubs within walking distance and found one, that had Sunday lunch and could fit us in.

Nice pub and truly excellent food. Sadly very understaffed. Staff there were lovely but awfully slow service, no plates cleared etc due to there only being two of them on a busy Sunday lunch service. It did sadly ruin our meal out.

What a great pub! Finally went there last evening and loved it so much. Jim is absolutely the best bar tender in the world 😃 So funny, easy going, engaged, helpful - simply the best. We weren't that much in contact with Chloe but a bit of interaction we had with her was also extremely positive. Thank you so much guys

Wow! What a find!! Great place to eat & drink, came up to London to celebrate my son’s 18th. Lovely atmosphere and I wish I got the waitress’s name she was amazing she looked after use really well and even wrote Happy Birthday on the napkin under his pudding! Will definitely return when in London again! Thank you for a memorable & lovely evening!

They serve good selection of quality beers and the bar staff are very professional ! Likewise there is a chill terrace outside the canal and a theatre upstairs ! Highly recommend !

Lovely pub and wonderful, friendly customer service. We had a hit and a miss with our food, but would definitely recommend that people go for the overall menu. We ordered the Breaded Chicken Schnitzel and the Steak & Onion Pie as our lunch entrees, with Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert. I really liked the schnitzel - especially accompanied with the roast chicken mayo - and the chips were a good portion. The dessert was excellent - it's perfect for two to share.Why 3 stars? The salad - with Schnitzel was disappointing - limp greens from too much dressing. The Steak Pie was overpowered by onions - there wasn't enough meat to prevent it from becoming a mush.
