Got got bites and calamari. Both came with nice fluffy chips and sauces on side(Ketchup and tartar) really enjoyed this as it's mentioned halal. Can't wait to be back after ramadan

Great plaice and chips. Picked up on the way home. Worth a visit or delivery. Good Fish and Chips in The East End.

Lot of people complaining about the price but they don’t realise location like this on city of London rent rate are well over 150k annual. For them to survive in location like this I think the price is fare.In this area hardly any traditional fish & chips are left. Most place have turned it in to all mix and much grill kebabs burg etc.I think these guys are ok. Just needs to upgrade the chips from frozen to genuine authentic tradition fresh fat potato chips.

I rarely review restaurants and do it when things are really bad or really good. That’s bad, I know. I went there and the lady behind the counter was extremely nice. I let her guide me through the menu and make recommendations. She recommended the cod and chips. The fish was fresh and crisp. The French fries (chips) were nice and thick and cooked just right. I think she put crack in the sauce because it was really good! I do recommend you check it out if you’re in the area. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, but I sat at a table while waiting. It was very clean and nicely decorated. I’ll stop by one more time before I go home and I do recommend you check it out.

I'm sorry but I was really looking forward to traditional fish and chips but HUGE let down and WAAAY over priced I didn't flinch at the price at first thinking i'm paying for traditional old school fish n chips in a premium chippy on the edge of the city but I felt it was a rip off.The worst bit the chips were not your traditional chippy's chips almost seems like the stuff that comes frozen in a packet. Will not go again and will not recommend to anyone.

£15.90 for a serving of sub-par fish and chips in terms of quality. For that price I was expecting much more. The fish and chips being served here would cost no more than £6 in a typical chippy.I would urge anyone to simply walk a few minutes up brick lane to find many offerings of vastly superior value. The décor, atmosphere and staff were all pleasant, hence two stars.

Fish was good but the chips let down as they were a bit too hard, also tartar sauce was really tangy. The decor was a bit dated and I think they can do with new crockery and cutlery.ÂŁ17.50

A traditional fisjmh and chip shop cashing in on the local attraction of Jack The Ripper. There are fewer of these traditional English take aways and this place gives the business a good name. The chips are fresh cut and fryed. I'd prefer a more crisp chip but these are OK. The same old sausage from Brooker and Pies from another national supplier. What it needs to get a 5 star is original sausages and pies with more effort in the ingredients as they aren't cheap but nor are McDonalds etc and this is a bit better than that alternative. Good but not 5 star.

Really nice decor! Funky wallpaper with a music theme. I found the chips hard, the steak pie pastry is to die for. However, too much meat and little gravy, it was a let down. Prices are reasonable.

Why this place has no ratings is beyond me !! Been past here a few times before the pandemic and it's always been busy. I decided to go after restrictions ended on 17th May 2021 and now I know WHY...excellent fish n chips...not as good as "Poppie's" but I highly recommend going here at least once (I will definitely be returning !!)...I had Cod & Chips with mushy peas and gravy, followed by sticky toffee pudding.
