Absolute rip-off.I ordered an Apperol Spritz which is £8.50 according to their online menu but they charged me £12.50! The explanation they gave me is that they have changed the prices of the cocktails but they haven’t updated the menus… It is also served in a water glass… what a joke!!I loved this place but not anymore. If you don’t want to sell cocktails, then don’t. What a disappointment!

Excellent little pub in Notting Hill with cold beer and amazing nachos. Was able to watch the rugby match, through a very crowded room. Excellent place to drink!

Unpretentious pub in affluent Notting Hill. Good choice of beers and fantastic looking food. Friendly, attentive staff and a chilled out, pleasant vibe. Will definitely come back.

Was charged service on drinks I ordered and received at the bar. Why? Stop this. Put the price of beer up… don’t charge service on drinks. I’m too embarrassed to ask for that to be removed. Awful. Even if you serve me at the table, that’s your choice …. Not mine. Don’t tell me to go to my table… don’t charge me service.

I make sure I come here every time I stay in London. Its had a revamp a few years ago but still has a great atmosphere with a good range of beers. A surprisingly traditional place 2 minutes off the beaten track.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the pub was very welcoming and the food looked great. However, can’t believe they put service charge on a pint when ordered at the bar. I asked the barmaid why, she said she didn’t create the system which was very rude. The pubs now owned by a chain, so that probably explains it. It’s already £6-7 a pint, but I guess the locals don’t care anymore!

Nice fairly traditional style pub. I came on a Thursday evening and it was rammed, so maybe best to book. They were doing table service which is good, but it was £7 for a pint of local craft beer which seems steep
