The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon in City of London

Visited Fortnum & Mason for the Afternoon Tea this weekend and what a lovely experience that was! First of all, ALL the staff was incredibly friendly and professional - they really made us feel special and made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious - from finger sandwiches to desserts, and all can be refilled if you fancy another round. Amazing selection of teas - Jasmine Silver Needle White Tea is definitely worth trying - one of the best teas I’ve ever tasted. A lovely touch at the end was a special celebration dessert and extra speciality desserts to take home! Highly recommend to anyone, an amazing way to celebrate a special moment!

Shared an Afternoon Tea with a dear friend at The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. Wanted somewhere special as we have not been together for two years because of the Pandemic and health issues.Was a lovely experience with very attentive staff. The finger sandwiches, scones and cakes were excellent. Would recommend to visit for a treat.

Incredible experience. Delicious tea menu, with a variety of blends to suit every palate. Crisp buttery scones with clotted cream and the most fabulous jams. My friend had the halal afternoon tea, I had the classic. We both left incredibly full but satisfied. The only slight drawback was at times the service was inattentive, which was difficult to understand given the salon wasn't overly busy. Nevertheless, would come again.

If you are looking for a great experience, nice place and nice afternoon tea, definitely is "The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon". In my personal opinion I like more the sweet than the savoury but is good option to try both. Service was excellent from the hosts to our waitress "Esmeralda". This is also a great present for an special occasion.

The food is excellent and fresh. You can have as many refill as you want.The tea are also excellent and you can ask as many you like.However the service is not great. We did not have a very good service by Joachim. He forgot sometimes when we asked for a refill of sandwiches and tea. He was also pouring tea on the table each time he brought the tea pots. He was not delicate at all or even friendly.Also we couldn't finish the last scones and pastries. Therefore we asked for a box to take home. He brought us only one box saying it is one per table. We were 3, friends not living together. We spoke with a manger who of course said you can have 3 boxes.When we paid there was no word of thank you, enjoy the rest of your day...The room is also noisy.I would give 5 stars for the food and also for the people at the reception who were very niceBut the service is poor and the atmosphere too noisy.

We had such a great time here, the atmosphere, decor and food were all amazing. Our waiter was really friendly and service was quick. The food for the afternoon tea was bottomless. We had quite a few cocktails, my favourite were the tea infused gin and negroni - properly amazing

Absolutely amazing experience. High tea in great seeing. The whole experience from arrival to departure was handled professionally by staff and we were made to feel special. Food and tea were outstanding. Great thing to put on your bucket list.

A delicious afternoon tea. I selected the vegetarian option which came with an imaginative array of sandwiches (not the usual "Oh quick replace the ham with some egg mayonnaise"). The scones were fabulous and just remembering the blueberry jam makes my mouth water. Beautiful cakes in taste and appearance. Overall, a lovely experience provided with friendly service.

Wonderful afternoon spent celebrating a special birthday for our mums 70th birthday. Service was exceptional! Food was tasty. We ordered high tea and afternoon tea a group of 9 altogether. Our group was well looked after. The tea arrived piping hot. The scones and pastries were so fresh and light. We all had a lovely time. Table service from Esmerelda our waitress was excellent she made our mum feel so very special 😊 we would definitely return.

Amazing, second time going, been with friends for a birthday. This time took all the ladies of the family. Honestly no fault. We were late , they still treated us well, gave us the best table as we had kids. They were welcoming. I just felt so comfortable. Everything we asked for they accommodated. We were even offered free sparkling tea. I didn't feel like we were holding up the table. The whole experience was wonderful special thanks to Anna and Azley. You made us feel so so special. The tea choice is vast and was lovely, the sandwiches , cakes, scones really good too. Three of us tried the savoury tea, the crab scones were delicious. We will be back.
