Went here for my birthday meal whilst staying overnight in London. This was our first visit and we will definitely be going back when we're next down there. The food was amazing, and certainly lived up to the standard that The Duck & Rice post on social media. The prawn toast starter was the best I have ever had. Service was excellent, very attentive with a brilliant atmosphere in the place. Thank you for my Birthday Cake with candle too! Nice touch.

Excellent crispy duck with pancakes. Very nice ambiance with attentive and professional staff. Egg fried rice was out of this world, also try other dishes, everything seemed very good and authentic.

Food is good but appetizers are very small and extremely overly priced. We were in a group and the servers kept ignoring us and didn't bother telling us that the dumplings were three of each kind while it was four of us and it was obvious that we were sharing. We didn't even get enough serving spoons and we had to keep asking for water. I also was pushed many times to order a drink from the same person and I didn't appreciate that. We also had a party with a dog and booked us upstairs so when we arrived they told us we had to be seated downstairs because that's where dogs are allowed and we ended up being close to the bar in a really crammed and trafficked area. This is not a great place for dogs as the chairs are really heavy and could easily injur a dog's paw, tail or legs if people are not aware.

It was a good experience overall. The food was good but nothing mind blowing, the vegan selection was smaller than given to thing from the menu online as many plates are no longer offered at the restaurant. The drinks were good although a bit overprice in my opinion. The service was excellent. The location was nice although very crowded with tables packed next to each other (not exactly COVID friendly) and very loud too.

Delicious food and cocktails, we were seats at a lovely window table in the corner with a lazy Susan. We were served by Amadeus who was very friendly and attentive to us, excellent customer service from him throughout our meal. The food was delicious, the highlights for us were the duck spring rolls, mock chicken and okra dish, the back coconut ice cream was to die for, calamari, mock chicken lettuce wraps. My espresso martini was amazing with the biggest foam top I ever saw, hats off to the cocktailmaker :)) Also nice was the Mango Bellini :)) Thoroughly enjoyed the food and will most certainly be back again. The restaurant is modern with the perfect ambience, not too quiet and not too noisy, not to dark and not too bright either.

A great place for dim sum with a western twist. All the dishes were amazing, delicious and in good portion. The interior was nicely decorated and there is enough privacy and room for each table. The price was fair - two of us order two main dishes (rice and noodles) with 3 dim sum dishes and drinks. It came out around £35 per person.Highly recommended and will comeback again.

Okay this place is AMAZING.I’m going back for veganuary because they have incredible veggy and vegan options, ranging from fake prawns, calamari, paneer and tofu!I, an avid meat eater, opted for the classic duck and rice and I was NOT disappointed.Service was a little slow, but this place was rammed and a great atmosphere, so it can be forgiven. We went for the festive set menu at this time of year. The restaurant was very busy and we're seated upstairs near the bar area. The decor was great and ambience spot on. Quite dark tones throughout.Food was great. I tried everything on the set menu which is rare for me and enjoyed all of it. The party of 12 I was with demolished all the food. As it was busy, service was quite slow and I had to leave after 2hrs and 20mins to catch my train and missed my desert.Toilets are in the basement so it's quite a trek down and up the narrow back stairs if you are seated upstairs! All in all I really enjoyed it and would definitely go again.

Perfect food and cocktails! And it was huge enough. I was so full. The Singapore fried noodles was originally charged with prawns. I asked without prawns, but I paid a full price. But it’s worth it because the food was so good.

I went to the Duck and Rice for afternoon dim sum. The seating area for eating was mainly upstairs with views of Berwick Srreet. Downstairs was mainly a pub atmosphere serving beers etc. The food was ok. I was not blown away by it but it was flavourful. I also tried black coconut ice cream for the first time which was quite delicious. I forgot to ask what gave it the black colour though. Staff were friendly and efficient and it has a good atmosphere to meet with friends for brunch.
