I am reading all good reviews and wonder what happened on the night I visited with my wife. I had steak tartar to start and my wife seafood cocktail. Both were excellent. We then shared lobster Wellington which was awful . If you like pastry this is the dish for you because that's mostly what it was. Appreciate that they have located this restaurant in the lobby but it was freezing which does not make for a pleasant evening. Shame because service is excellent and it is Claridges. A real pity.

Afternoon tea was an absolute delight. Attila looked after us and made our birthday treat a memorial experience.

Lovely meal with warm service, the signature lobster wellington is very tasty and beautiful. I will definitely visit Claridge’s and the restaurant soon.

A wonderful experience and delicious food for a special occasion. They also catered for our Halal diet very seriously and went out of their way to assure us.I must mention Juan, our waiter, who gave us the best service we have ever experienced in a restaurant.

Not my every day spot but worth the visit! We had the canapé platter to begin with. The duck wraps and gougere were the tastiest. I absolutely loved it! Had the steak, medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. Dessert was a hazelnut meringue with caramel cremeux. Service was also top notch! All in all a good meal and great dining experience.

Great afternoon tea here! They have five kinds of sandwiches, among which I enjoyed the chicken one the most so I asked for some extra pieces. The sandwiches go well with the green tea! Then there are the scones and the sweets. The scones were pretty petite but were warm and delicious. The jam was really yummy but a little sweet, so it goes better with the plain one than the raisin. I asked for some milk to go with my Himalayas black tea. It accompanies the sweetness quite well. After the macaron I got full so I asked for the rest to go. The sweets are packed nicely.Excellent service! Attentive and polite. Really professional! The decorations are also fantastic.Worth the price and the fame.

Busy morning crowds..Maybe it's the morning crowd but having breakfast here is not really an enjoyable experience. Staying here as a house guests, they gave us priority to have a table every day during my stay but this place sure is crowded on mornings. Though seated, I had trouble getting the wait staff attention, as they seem to be everywhere but not where I am seated. While there are variety of choices of breakfast, I honestly felt the quality is pretty average. Given the proximity of so many other cafes and restaurants, one certainly has better choices elsewhere.

We went for the Wimbledon High Tea which they served over a two week period. Really great experience and loved the food. Scones were some of the best we’ve had and they will serve you more whilst ever you can eat them. Same for the sandwiches. I have no doubt the regular afternoon tea would be just as good. Service was excellent, live piano and left feeling very full and satisfied.

“Elegant”After watching the TV documentary about this iconic hotel I promised myself that if ever I was in London I would go there even if it was for breakfast. Well I made it and it was all I expected and even more. Elegance and opulence are a couple of words I can use to describe this experience. The breakfast was excellent, the service was as good. I'm so glad I can say I have been to Cartridge's.
