We were at the Monday buffet in the Indian Restaurant and were positively surprised. There is a rich and varied selection of Indian dishes that everyone at the table enjoyed. So far, the best and most varied Indian buffet that I ate. Also very successful is the Indian ambience.

Overall we enjoyed our experience. The staff and owner were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was pleasant and too noisy. For me, the food let it down. On the menu, vegetarian options were mainly side dishes that could be made into a main.I managed to get a vegetable dupiazar. I found it lacked any distinct flavour and certainly wasn't as expected. The naan bread was wonderful.

We saw a fairly high rating for this place so we gave it a go but overall left disappointed. The main dishes lacked spice and flavor which shocked us because that is why we love Indian food. The atmosphere was very cool & the staff was very friendly!

Very friendly service and lovely traditional English-Indian food. A proper home from home.We had a lovely Sag Chicken and Chicken Tilla Masala with mushroom pilau and Bombay Aloo. Chicken was tender and very tasty.

Came here on New Year's Eve with friends and couldn't have been more impressed with the hospitality and care from the owner and staff. They did their best to make sure we had a leisurely meal and offered great suggestions for appetizers and drinks. We will definitely return!

Pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. I had the mixed grill mirchi (chef’s special) with pilao rice. The underground cavern atmosphere and discreet service just add to the mystery.UPDATE: came back after a month. I don’t quite like my chicken tikka masala (too sweet). And the waiter - while friendly - said something that’s borderline racist. Downgrading to 3 stars.UPDATE: popped in before concert at RFH. Service was superb - attentive and quick - but was slightly let down by the food. I stupidly ordered chicken tikka masala (it’s ok but too sweet for my liking) but the lamb jalfrezy was good. Starters were great, especially the onion bhaji. Sag aloo, pilau rice and plain naan were ok.

Lovely restaurant. Came up from Portsmouth with my wife for our anniversary and booked a table here. Had lovely food, the service was fantastic, the prices were very reasonable and the overall experience was very satisfying. I read in some reviews that people said the food wasn't like home cooked Indian. My wife is Punjabi, we eat home cooked all of the time, which is the best, eating out will always be different, that's why you eat out. The food here was great, the taste was spot on and we will happily be visiting here again.

Secondly all of the Food is brilliant, hands down the best Lamb I have ever tasted and so authentic! It also came very fresh, and the service from all of the friendly staff, was exceptional!!!To put the cherry on the cake the prices are so affordable and portions are huge - will be visiting again the next time I come, or perhaps even before I go home - it was so great!
