I went to The Jugged Hare for a Sunday Roast for my birthday. We had a large table for 13 people at the back and had plenty of space, didn't feel cramped at all.The staff we accommodating and checked in regularly re food and drink. The roast is one of the best I've had (and they did have meat options, vegetarian and a fish option).Great roast option in the City

Went on a Wednesday evening, bar was busy and buzzing with after work city workers and atmosphere was good. The restaurant which is set down a level was quieter and felt more like a restaurant than the pub which I liked. The food was really good and the special jugged hare was delicious. The only reason I gave 4 stars was the service was slow and wine was replaced without asking quickly but no water was left on the table they came round and refilled the very small glasses only twice the whole time we were there other wise we had to ask.

The food here is exceptionally good; easily one of the best Sunday roasts I’ve ever had. The bar area is dog friendly and staff kindly brought ours a bowl of water. Service at the bar was a little slow and confused at times but it appeared at least one team member was new/in training, so allowances should be made. Overall, I highly recommend The Jugged Hare.

Went on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago at about 14:30 and were able to get in without a reservation for the bottomless brunch. The food was delicious; I loved the heritage beetroot, my venison was gorgeous, and it was maybe the best mashed potato I've had in my life. Waitress was attentive and vivacious; we felt very looked after and welcomed. The only thing I would change would be adding in a cider to the included drinks on the bottomless brunch, as I'm gluten free and wanted to balance the prosecco and bloody Mary with something a little lower percentage! Is it expensive? Yes. But the food is good quality and we had a really good time. Definitely a special occasion visit rather than a weekly pub lunch.

Excellent quality of food. Welcoming staff. Classic surroundings. Good elbow space. All dishes prepared fresh and taste great. Thoroughly recommend.

Ended up coming here after my first choice venue didn't have space and am I glad I did. Even though they were very full, the staff went out of their way to fit me in. The roast beef was one of the best I had in London and I can't wait to come back!

Lovely atmosphere and staff, went for the Sunday roast and for the price-point it's pitching itself at, it wasn't nearly as good as it could have been. Our starters (wild boar scotch egg & sourdough with bacon and parsley butter) were nice. The beef was full of gristle, and the Yorkshire pudding had clearly been made at the start of service and kept semi-warm on the side. Nothing majorly wrong here, but it's an expensive lunch and for the price (£26 for the roast beef) I would have expected a much better standard overall. I'd come back and give the a la carte menu a try, because maybe that's where the quality is - the Sunday menu ain't it.

Great food and wine list, friendly efficient staff. Socially distanced tables, staff wear masks, clean and safe but still buzzy.

Had a great afternoon here. Staff were lovely and drinks came fast. The food was really good particularly the chicken meat and the stuffing was amazing. Veg were a little hard for my taste . Defiantly recommend though. Over £10 for service charge is taking the micky
