The Magazine Restaurant in City of London

I don’t like to moan but this was really disappointing. 1/2 of the menu wasn’t available. We were sat at a table right next to the kitchen and having booked well in advance it was a shame. Portion sizes were small. More like cafe food than restaurant. Generally underwhelming and a shame as we booked as a celebration. Won’t be back.

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon for coffee and cake. Possibly the worst cake I’ve ever had in London. Underbaked, stale and eggy. Coffee was alright but the service was slow and cold. £7.42 for the twoI only went to see Zaha Hadid’s work up-close, wouldn’t visit again.

Nice pitstop for drinks after visiting an exhibition at the serpentine. Quick service seated us down. DOG FRIENDLY! So great place to have coffee while taking a break on dog walk.

Came here looking for a quick lunch after a walk in Hyde park. Unfortunately because of the extremely slow service it was a longer stay than we’d like. The interior is beautiful and clean and they are dog friendly.We waited so long for our food to come out and when it did it was overall not very satisfying. The waiting staff will barely check up on you, and avoid eye contact when walking by. Definitely will not be visiting again.

Good place between Hyde Park and Kensington gardens to have a coffee stop. The terrace is quiet and the coffee is delicious! Recomendable for a brunch or breakfast!

We came here for our anniversary, the weather was hot and sunny so it was perfect. Stunning location. They gave us extra drinks on the house because of the celebration! The food was incredible. Contemporary European dishes. All the food is sourced locally. Food is not the cheapest around but then it is cuisine art so that is what you are paying for. Thankyou!

Completely blown away by this restaurant that feels hidden away in Hyde Park. Loved that the restaurant menu is focused on ingredients that don’t harm the earth but actively regenerate it. The charred beets & carrots were my favorite + our waiter Kevin was a gem! Will be back!

Delicious and fresh food in a beautiful building worth visiting. I really liked the aubergine dish as well as the side dishes that complement the mains very well. Lots of veggie options as well. We went for an early dinner and it was quiet but was great to enjoy the interior. Very relaxing atmosphere and really enjoyed our meal.

Beautiful seasonal food made to be shared. Paired with great wine and cocktails, all under the jaw dropping Zaha Hadid building. A must visit place to visit among the beautiful gardens of Hyde Park!

Nice restaurant. Excellent food - Italian. Milanese made of chicken (not Veal, as Viennese schnitzel would need), but excellently executed. The pasta was also good, if a little humble. Tiramisu was divine. The espresso was so so. Location is great and the architecture worth seeing.
