The Only Running Footman in City of London

A delightful small(ish) pub, close to Berkeley Square. Good beer, both cask and keg. The service was both pleasant and efficient. A great place for a beer if you are in the area. Although, as said the pub has a small footprint, don't be fooled, it is spread over three floors and everyone will fit in! Food is on offer Monday through Saturday. Certainly worth a visit.

Really lovely pub, cozy look and feel and delicious Sunday roast. Servers looked understaffed for the crowd but they were lovely when they were able to make the rounds.

Excellent establishment, food and staff alike

This was our last while playing Hidden City, a really fun experience. The pub is cozy and we spend around 30 mins here. Lively atmosphere and great service.

Fabulous lunch upstairs at the Footman. My pork jowls were amazing and my fellow dinners reported their food was very good too. Excellent desserts and we were given a freebie plate of homemade mince pies too.

The Footman. A good clean, busy London pub. What more do you need? What you don’t need is their prices, but given the location it’s pretty standard.We went in as part of the hidden city open world escape room - the bar staff played their part excellently insisting on the exact expressions to access the next clues.Outside the area is so posh there was a bag of rubbish split open and blowing round in the street, but instead of dirty nappies and rotting food it was foreign art books. Reminded me of Karl Poklington’s rant about hummus pots. Strange.

Nice pub. Very crowded on a Friday late afternoon/early evening - to be expected. Recommended.

Had a truly delicious lunch. Roast Lamb was pink and perfectly cooked and a different take on Fish, Chips and Mushy peas was excellent. Our waitress Aurore was fabulous throughout. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back

Tuesday 24th August and life around The Footman is buzzing with friendly chatter, gentle laughter and that sweet sound of clicking glasses.Delightful bar staff that genuinely serve you with a genuine smile. The Footman show that they are happy to have you back and we are a little more than excited to be back.The low lights sets the calming atmosphere complimented by the chilled tunes caressing your emotions, all make for a top notch night with friends, colleagues and loved ones or just relax alone with your favourite tipple and reflect while soaking it all inYou could do worse than The Footman but you couldn't do much better. When in or around Mayfair look for The Footman and treat yourself...you know your worth it..!!

Lovely food, good service and good location. Only downside was the music in the bar was too loud for conversation so we got moved to upstairs which was so much better. Recommended
