Where is The Palm Court?
🏠 Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, Piccadilly, London W1J 7BX
"Located in the heart of Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, The Palm Court is just one of the original features of the hotel from when it was completed in 1927. Sit back and enjoy these surroundings while enjoying one of the best traditional afternoon teas in London and listening to the relaxing sounds of the harp. We are open all day, for a light breakfast, lunch or dinner or just to catch up over a cup of tea or coffee. We also have an extensive selection of cocktails in our bar menu."

Love this place.. my partner brought me here for drinks on our first date. Every now and then he brings me back.. Great service always and good cocktails!

Had afternoon tea for a recent celebration. Was slightly underwhelmed and borderline disappointed. Staff were very kind and polite, however the bread used for the sandwiches was dry/stale. The scones were nice and the desserts were mediocre. Definitely believe it is not worth the price and don’t think I’d revisit.

For the price, a poor experience. Most of the decent reviews on this page are actually meant for the Ritz Palm Court, so beware. The Palm Court Sheraton afternoon tea seating area was fully booked so our party was seated at an oversized table just outside the actual Palm Court. Staff were very accommodating in trying to make us comfortable, however this really should’ve been mentioned to us at the time of booking. The sandwiches were very basic-acceptable taste but nothing special. The scones were good but the jams served with them had no flavour. The patisserie were, again, average in flavour and nothing special. The selection and quality of teas was good.Overall the staff were helpful but the afternoon tea was underwhelming and as a result very overpriced. Would be ok if it was priced at £25-30, but for £42 we expected better.

Had afternoon tea here few days ago, the experience in general was okay but I wouldn’t say it was one of my top list for afternoon tea in London. The staff were nice and polite but we felt we were rushed. We should have an hour and a half but they put the bill on our table after one hour even that we didn’t ask for it and we’re still having our tea and that’s a mean reason why I give it 3 stars. The venue itself is very nice and the food was good but again nothing outstanding. Scones was delicious and warm but I found the brioche bread a bit dry and the meringue cake a bit messy. Tried different tea options which was nice that we can try different options but only like one of them. It was nice to try the afternoon tea in the palm court but I don’t think I will become a regular.

Beautiful place and beautiful afternoon! We had to get a jacket and a tie in the last minute because of the strict dress code, and I’m glad we did as all the men in the room were wearing a jacket and a tie despite it being a very hot day!! My partner was sweating as the AC wasn’t that strong. I , on the other hand, enjoyed the warm temperature in my dress. :)4 star only because the waitress came over and offered to pack our scones that we didn’t finish… but he didn’t realise my partner was saving the sandwiches for the last and took away our tray and threw away all the sandwiches 😱😱😱😱😱😭😭 it all happened so quickly - he took away our tray with no time for us to explain that we’ve been saving the sandwiches for the last and we want to eat them!! ( apparently they don’t allow sandwiches to be packed away). Well, my partner always leaves his favourite food for the last so I told him maybe in the future he should change the strategy after this happened. 😂So tips for everyone: EAT the sandwiches first before they Chuck them away before you realise what’s happening! So 3 stars in memoir of our sandwiches- otherwise I would have given a 5.

The restaurant was very busy and had a great vibe. Our waitress was really helpful advising us on the menu choices due to a dairy intolerance, ensuring the dishes served did not contain anything to upset my stomach. The prices are very reasonable here considering its location.Would definitely go again if in the area.

Fantastic experience. Beautiful surroundings and atmosphere. Soft piano playing in the background. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was dainty but plentiful. Ladies restroom was beautiful with sofas table, real hand towels. Everything was perfect.

We enjoyed our first ever tea and champagne experience. It was lovely and worth the visit. The biscuits were delicious, the sandwiches very good., and the cakes so good.
