I've been to the Ned on many occasions and didn't know about this cosy bar downstairs.The main bar area on the ground floor can get very noisy with the live band, so I highly recommend the Parlour bar when you need something a little quieter!Sitting at the bar as the best atmosphere In my opinion, so that's what we did. Can't wait to return.

We went to The Parlour for a friends 40th birthday yesterday and from start to finish the experience was amazing! The staff were super attentive (before even asking they had cushions ready for our pregnant friend). The entertainment was brilliant and the food was delicious! Brilliant place to go to for a special occasion! Our waiter was Theodor and he was excellent too! Thanks for a great night out!

We visited The Parlour for my birthday yesterday and I must say it was a brilliant experience. It’s a very intimate venue, dimly lit with great decor. The service was ok, by no means perfect but seemed to improve throughout the night. We were seated right by the band who played most of the night with a short break here and there. The singers were very good and the burlesque show was entertaining. The food was incredible. I had scallops followed by the NY strip steak which is up there with the best I’ve had anywhere in world. My partner had the Wild Seabass which was equally as good. I was also given a complimentary dessert for my birthday which was a nice touch.
