Excellent pub, good variety of beers, ciders, ales, wine etc. Always busy with city workers after busy days. Nice location in some streets, and plenty of space to mingle when the weather is good. There are also some food options downstairs, standard and pretty good quality for a bite.

It is quaint pub, with dark panelling in the bar. It's not the plushest of places but serves a good pint and not overly expensive. Bar staff were friendly and helpful and enough serving for the amount of customers in the pub. No outside area but drinkers stand in the alley. Nice pub.

I used to really like the Jam Pot but the fact that they now serve all (!) of their drinks in the straight-edged Shepherd Neame glasses meant for ale has unfortunately ruined it for me. Cider, lager, Guinness, everything. A real shame. Guinness just isn’t the same in the wrong glass - the head was non-existent, or poor, on every pint my friend & I had. I won’t be returning.

Fantastic old pub with a great range of drinks. It can be insanely busy but the bar staff are excellent and always keep things moving.

This is one of the London City institutions. Probably the best Guinness in London and a superb atmosphere. As a scotsman, the only downside is their Whisky Gantry...!

Cosy old pub in St Michael's Alley, just off Cornhill in the City. Shepherd Neame with a good selection of beers and comfy atmosphere.

What a strange old pub! Full of bankers in suits with good hair like the 20th century never ended but I won't hold it against the pub. Not too loud and good drink. It's all you need.

Great pub. It can seem quite busy in the evening but don't be fooled there is plenty of space to sit inside. Good if you want a place that's historical. Good drink selection. Welcoming staff. I will return again.
