The Promenade at The Dorchester in City of London

Loved this place.Amazing Ambience, delicious food.The risotto was the best along with the steaks.Date pudding was awesome. Had one of the best Passion fruit mojitos.We were a big group of 9 adults and 8 children.The staff was amazing especially the Kenyan guy with Specs. Simply excellent place and food.

Loved the whole afternoon tea dining experience... Eat as much as you like... No rush for you to leave... Friendly staff... Food halal.... Well worth the money

I organised my engagement party at the promenade. Everything, from the superb and stylish ambience, to the delicious food and tasty cocktails, to the kindness and professionalism of the staff was excellent. In particular I would love to express my gratitude to Fabio, the assistant manager, who helped me orchestrate an amazing and touching surprise for my fiance’! His professionalism, kindness and organisation skills are second to none! And special thanks to Matteo who prepared for us special signature cocktails and served us with kindness and a constant smile on his face! Thank you again Dorchester staff for your beautiful atmosphere and invaluable help in making my dream to impress my fiance’ true! We will never forget❤️!!

Delicious Afternoon Tea in a beautifully decorated hall, with lovely service and live piano music. Great day out!

Absolutely wonderful! Went there for afternoon tea. Good selection of everything. Beautiful decor, nice and cosy atmosphere with the piano playing in the background. Excellent service and friendly staff. I will definitely re-visit.

Elegant interior, relaxing atmosphere for afternoon tea. The Dorchester Hotel is right by the Easy side of Hyde Park. Good afternoon tea place after a walk in the park. £60 per person for traditional afternoon tea and £70 per person with champagne.

Absolutely amazing dining experience at The Promenade. Premium quality of food and service!

We went here for afternoon tea as a group of 7 for my birthday. The positives were that the tea selection was good and we were able to try a selection of different teas. However we were not topped up with any scones or cakes and when asked if we could have some extras the server told us no it is not their policy to give any more. Considering you’re paying £65 a person after service you would expect this to be different. I most definitely would not return as there are far better options for afternoon tea where the service is outstanding and you can have extra sandwiches, scones and cakes and even a takeaway bag should you have any leftovers. This is one of the pricier afternoon teas but is not worth it at all.

It’s quite an experience to enjoy. Just go with the flow with the front of house. She may smile at you with your reservation name but still keep you dangling unnecessary for longer than is needed. And make sure your card limit is not close to bouncing you....

Breakfast and lunch were fabulous! I had some pastries and the smoked salmon, cream cheese bagel. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere very relaxed. The venue is gorgeous and every detail taken care off. A very pleasant location to treat yourself and your beloved ones. One of my favourite spots in Mayfair.
