The Real Greek in City of London

Food is good as per chain standard, but service was quite slow and inattentive even if restaurant was not busy (kept asking for water during the entire meal but didn't get any).We ordered the 2 course Christmas menu, it was very filling and great starters (lots of hummus, tzatziki, and pea mash), we also had moussaka and it was quite nice (we even brought it home as we could not finish it), price was perfect for the size of the menu.Giving 3 stars because I understand places are currently severely understaffed and it is getting closer to Christmas, but the service could keep a better look on customers.

Went here for something different and weren’t disappointed. Friendly helpful staff and delicious food. I had octopus for the 1st time absolutely amazing cooked perfectly. Fresh salad, hummus and good chips

I wouldn’t call it “real” Greek, but it’s a good restaurant chain for a tasty meal. A nice menu with many vegetarian and vegan options, great deals for lunchtime and a beautiful view on the river. Recommended for families and for a healthy meal in the area. Food is a bit bland but you can’t expect full Greek flavours in London I guess. Staff was kind.

We had the nicest lunch here, the food, wine and staff are lovely. Lots of veggie and vegan options. The chocolate cake was delicious!

The service was slightly too slow for my liking. The outdoor seating looked promising but the heaters were all on or 9ff which meant too hot or too cold. The food was a little disappointing, the musaka was a hybrid between that and a shepherd's pie. Didn't taste authentic enough but the falafel and hummus were pleasant.

Really good service from staff which makes for a lovely evening and shared the Santorini menu between two which works out at great value for money.However, while the food wasn't bad, it definitely wasn't to the same standard I've had here previously. The flatbread was a little more crispy than fluffy, found the falafel quite dry and the meatballs a little grissely. Everything else though was delicious.It does still warrant the four stars for the staff service and I'd still return again.

Good quality food and excellent service. Definitely hits the spot when you want some good and tasty Greek food. Especially if you're (like me) wanting a taste of home! Delicious and quick! Couldn't ask for more!

Bland food no flavour. Potatoes were the worst of it and rice was a close second place. No dressing on the salad and tomatoes were spoiled should not have been served. Very poor quality but the latte was good at least.

Visiting Greek restaurants in London as a Greek always equals with high expectations. And I must say I was presently surprised.While entering the restaurant I was greeted and taken to my table relatively fast. It was a Thursday evening so not many people in the restaurant upon my arrival.The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my entire sitting.I ordered 1 pork belly souvlaki and 1 vegan meatball souvlaki. Both of the dishes were reasonably sized and among the "cheaper" side of Greek souvlaki in London, priced at £6.75 each.The pork belly was very interesting as it had a nice twist on the traditional pork souvlaki, with a nice smokey flavor. The only thing I would ask is extra tzatziki sauce as it was very little on my souvlaki.However, the vegan meatball souvlaki really blew my expectations away! It was, if I dare say, better than the pork belly. Super tasty and generally a very good choice. Strongly recommend it for everyone.The waiting time for the food to arrive at my table was a bit more than expected for the food I ordered. Specifically 21 minutes which for 2 souvlaki is a bit much but still within the limits. Although since the restaurant was not very busy, I expected quicker times of serving.In total I paid £15.18 which includes the service fee (£1.68).For a Greek like me visiting probably the biggest greek restaurant franchise in London, I must say I totally approve this place. The only thing that needs improvement is the waiting time for the food. This was a slow day and I could tell that the problem was general, just by looking around the other tables. Can't imagine the waiting times on a busy Friday or Saturday night.

A wonderful little stop while walking along The Queen's Walk. Close to Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe and Southwark Bridge this is a great stop during a day on the Thames.You can people watch while sipping on their delightful cocktails and enjoying hot and cold meze and other bites.I quite enjoyed the grilled aubergine and tzatziki and pita. The fried calamari was a tad bit oily for my taste but the batter was light and the lemon mayonnaise was nice and light.
