Food tasty, service good. Place rather tatty and run down...worn fabric and sticky floors. Pushing it to call or a gastropub!!

Great place in the more recent style of old pubs gone open plan and a bit foody kond of wat you find a lot now. Good staff, good drinks. Didn't eat bit it looked like decent stuff.

Lovely staff, beautiful food and calming atmosphere. The pub is located centrally, but it is removed from the hustle and bustle of the main traffic. Spent around 5 hours here on Saturday, with no pressure from any of the team to leave. I wish I had pictures to post, but the food was too delicious to wait.

Nice pub, decent selection of beer and friendly atmosphere. Service a bit erratic, but definitely one of the better Marylebone pubs.

Lovely pub. Unfortunately quiet due to covid restrictions but that is not their fault. A small selection of Tier 2 food items to get around the substantial meal nonsense. My biggest issue was the pub was very cold! Heating did not seem to be on, if it had, I would have happily stayed longer. Pity really.*Edit came back here a year after my initial review and i wish i could say things had improved but unfortunately not. Well, it was warmer in the pub (they had electric heaters everywhere, their electric bill must be astronomical!).This time it was stock issues, no beers on tap that we liked, no Southern Comfort, no soda or Lemonade as the gun was broken (meaning limited cocktails also), i get these things may happen but, go and buy a few bottles of Soda/Lemonade for crying out loud!! Settled for drinks we didnt really want. Oh and bar tender could do with cracking a smile, talk about moody! Not welcoming in the least!

The welcome is great, lovely spacious pub with friendly staff but best of all is the food. It’s incredible! Mackerel Rilettes & Cod with dashi, it was absolutely delicious. Apparently new young chef. I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you.

One of my favourite pubs in London! Have been visiting for years back when they had a pop-up chicken burger/wings restaurant in. Such a chill vibe, and still do great good. My most recent visit I tried the mussles, which unfortunately just tasted of nothing - but I didn't have very high expectations for them tbh. They do a great Aperol Spritz, but lagers on tap very limited, no Peroni, Amstel etc, more craft

Very nice pub. We were walking around the area and stopped in for a gin. First time in this pub even though we have walked by it on several other trips. Staff was friendly. Clean toilets.

Lovely pub, newly refurbished, very nice staff. Not your usual pub food, much better, the chef being Dan Doherty (ex Duck and Waffle)
