The Shooting Star in City of London

Nice pub, good beer (unfortunately with normal excruciating London prices), excellent pie and chips, but oh, could you please sort out the closing of the external doors, we were sitting in a cold draught all the time. 5 stars otherwise.

Great pub for the atmosphere and choice of beers but don't order any food. Chips looked to be whatever was leftover, nachos were cold and the cheese rather than being on top of them was stuck to the plate, burger was dried, fish had a very weird taste. Friendly stuff.

Pies and beer! The typical Fullers ale and pie format, but that was just what we were looking for and the pies did not disappoint (neither did the beer) Not a very old pub, but great theme (astronomy as one might guess) and very fun decor. Staff was superb on a relatively busy Monday night. We had a lovely night. Thanks!

The testing board was good, nothing crazy for 19 pounds really. One of the waiter was nice the other one was acting bothered or something I don't know

Good clean pub, great swift service ... even educational.

Drink selection is ok but pricy even for the location, food is expensive, ok-ish quality, while portions are very small. Service is fast but kind of rude. Could've been better.

Good ambience and great service! We got lovely hot mulled wine along with the Sunday roast. The roast was okay, turkey was dry and didn't taste fresh.

Affordable and very tasty Sunday roast in a central pub. Also a really good place for after-work drinks close to Liverpool Street Station. I will keep coming!

A busy pub with great ale choices and cocktails. The food is good, Sunday roast to be on point. Good place to chill around, friendly staff. Highly recommended

Lovely atmosphere, nice food (although I missed peas next to my pie..), good beer on tap! Definitely recommend
