The Union Bar & Grill in City of London

Had a Christmas meal last night and I can't fault them for making sure my dietary needs were catered for. It meant I had an enjoyable evening without suffering the next day. Thank you.

Great open bar space, clean bathrooms, nice staff.

This bar is ideally positioned for anyone living, working or commuting near Great Portland Street. Modern spacious bar with outside seating. I arrived here on a Thursday night which was busy (Thursday is the new Friday!) but the staff were not able to cope. Not sure if short staffed or lack of training but either way there was a long wait for drinks. Manager was very apologetic.

Great place for food and hanging out with family and friends.. friendly staff.. good food.. Will definitely visit again

Nice bar and venue in the heart(ish) of London, bar staff have always been friendly and quick and the drinks aren't insanely priced. A few cocktails on the menu which they can make quickly. There's an outdoor area that's good to cool down and the security on the door are generally friendly.Easy to walk to from either Great Portland St or Warren St stations and lots of bus traffic too.

We hosted a private party for about 120 people at the union and I am amazed by how great the manager and his team were! The manager Elia went above and beyond to ensure we had the beat party. Dinner service was smooth and easy and the bar service quick despite the number of guests. I will recommend having your party here! Everyone loved the party.

Great bar, reasonably priced drinks.Only issue is that the staff look like their under military supervison.I am in the UK on business and I’ve been in a few times and the staff seem amazing with great attitudes but It really puts a downer on the mood seeing staff being disciplined in front of customers when they are doing their job.Clearly business comes above pleasure in this establishment.Great place to enjoy a drink and a conversation if the management allow.

Definitely one of my favourite places in London where to spend the weekend's nights, great environment and athmospere with a wide choice of cocktails and wines, good music and vibes for a good bunch of fun every time! Good choice of food too with amazing burgers and juicy tapas. The staff is so friendly and helpful, makes you feel welcome every single time.highly recommended to anybody, I'll see you soon!

The food was nice the vegetarian pie not so much and definitely not as described. The brisket and the fishcake were nice.
