atmosphere is nice, You have to go when sunny day because they've got a transparent glass ceiling. Food was not that good .. it was good before but not these days

I am gluten free and vegan and after a very long deliberation chef decided that rice contains gluten (not true), so I given soup, which I have to send back (was like a dish water, I have no idea who can serve this to the paying customers). The bill came with that salad rice which I have not being given. I was waiting for 38 minutes for the bowl of inedible soup, it’s too much! As much as I love Wallis Collection I will never come to the restaurant, waste of time and I left hungry!

Very good price (21,50£ per person) for the afternoon tea. Vegetarian options available.

I’m surprised that a piece of bread wasn’t included with the soup considering a small bowl cost £8. The avocado tomatoes on toast was saturated in clumps of sea salt, my daughter couldn’t eat it. Furthermore the staff here today seemed to be annoyed and fed up with something, it was very obvious and made us feel uncomfortable as paying guests. The ambiance and setting on the other hand is beautiful and a credit to the museum.

Excellent afternoon tea experience. The hall was gorgeous. Visited on Feb 29, 2020.

Afternoon tea was very affordable and service was great. The gallery holds amazing artwork so you can dine surrounded by exquisite pieces of art. I had a herbal tea but for me it wasn’t that aromatic.

After reading all reviews, I wont be visiting this place. I've booked afternoon tea for a special birthday which I had mentioned. Had initially received 1 reply from a week of that email and then there were no response after, even when I sent a kind reminder, this really shows what sort of service you will be getting and their customer priority which is most likely low (as what their rating/reviews clearly shows) therefore happily cancelling my booking and going elsewhere that will offer a better service even if I have to pay more.

Very slow and unfriendly service. Took 20 minutes to be seated although the place is half empty. Another 40 minutes for just a tea and scone to arrive. Staff is really ineffective and so slow. They are few staff (if you see my picture) who’s just there waiting for nothing. On the bright side, it is a very nice restaurant. Don’t come here if you are in a rush.

Cheap afternoon tea...but feels you get what your pay for. The service is good and waiting staff are courteous. The tea was nice and the English breakfast was clearly tastier than you'd get from a normal tea bag.But the food was mediocre. The finger sandwiches were neat and well presented and tasted ok. But the scones were rock hard on the outside. The sweet mini desserts were nice but felt like they were mass produced by machines...didn't have authenticity of being handmade. The tea is nice as mentioned but you only get one smallish pot which is easily drank too quickly. You don't get offered refills or extra sandwiches or desserts, so the experience is basic rather than Ritz afternoon tea.The surroundings are airy but seating is old fashioned and whilst everything is clean it felt like more up to date furnishings would make the place sparkle. The pics on its website give the impression this is an exclusive and snazzy place ..but reality is that it's functional and reasonable rather thanan amazing 'must go' experience.

Small but worth a visit. Ideal presents. Easy access.
