The food is great. Well thought out tasting menu and beautifully executed and presented. Was a pity to see the restaurant mostly empty on a Friday night.Service was lacking in attention to detail. Our water glasses were filled in the beginning and not again for the rest of the meal despite numerous staff including the manager clearing our table and seeing our glasses empty. We said we weren't drinking wine, but nobody asked if we wanted anything else to drink until the end of the meal. Small things yes but this is what separates good restaurants from the great ones.

What a great find! Every course was extremely tasty and clever, and a reasonably-priced wine-pairing really just elevated each dish. We were shocked that it wasn't fully-booked, and will be returning very soon. Can't fault the quality of food, service or creativity.

Their food was good but the service was rather disappointing. At the beginning we explained that one of us has to leave in 1h and asked them to bring her main when others have apetizer.When we received our apetizer she did not get her main. We (nicely) asked them to bring the main for her but we did not receive it until other people's main was ready... They just kept saying "it's ok," "it's coming" and never listened to us...My friend had to cancel her dessert and leave due to their failed service but they first refused to cancel the dessert.They seriously need to learn how to listen and improve their service level. Being friendly isn't enough for this type of venue. We will never go back unless the service level improves. It was a bad Christmas dinner experience... Extremely disappointed.

From beginning till end of my lunch, 36 delivered waves of success with harmony. All staff exceed expectations and highlighted performance.I enjoyed the finesse on every dish presentation and the distinguished quality of products among other contemporary hotels in the area.It is true what I heard before, 36 inside The Dukes Hotel is a magnificent gem hidden between streets.I have become a big fan of Chef Nigel food and so looking forward to visit them again.
