What you're paying for is the atmosphere and quirkiness, and certainly not the canteen style food. The sort of place you might visit once, but never again. The approach is load the customers with plenty of drink to keep them happy, but decor is cramped, dark and feels like a greasy cafe trying to charge Knightsbridge prices.

I celebrated my 36 birthday hear with 10 friends, fantastic fun lots of beer, great sausages and sauerkraut The atmosphere was just a barrel of laughs you could really think you were in a different country!Make sure you book weeks/Month’s in advance!

Great place, cracking atmosphere, been in the same location since it's launch, my family have been regular patrons over the years, the cuisine is true to the Austro-Hungarian borders, good produce cooked and presented well, would really like to see Zwetchgenknödel on the dessert menu, as this alongside Wiener Schnitzel Mit Kartoffel, Gurken und Zwiwbelsalat, is a memory of my childhood. Don't blink or be put off that the one door entrance is not as grand as some others, the place is a proper tardis, and we'll worth the exploration, you will not be disappointed.

So much fun here! What a gem hidden in Westbourne Park! Staff were so friendly and accommodating and the vibe was so amazing. Loved the singing and the cow bells! The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars was because there wasn’t much of a choice on the menu for non-meat eaters, but I wasn’t disappointed!

Absolutely fantastic place for a party dinner. I have visited this place several times in the last 15 years and it hasn't changed a bit. The music is cheesy, the food is cheesy, that is if you choose the Spätzle, or deliciously comforting if you go for the schnitzel or Bauernschmaus. All can be washed down with some Austrian wine, or refreshing beers, accompanied by the odd Apfelkorn or 2.

Lovely food and brilliant entertainment. Was well worth travelling from north London for. Be warned though, be careful with the schnapps!

Super traditional Austrian restaurant. The owner plays and sings folclore songs, which really lightens the mood. The staff is attentive and friendly and the fondue is delicious!!

The atmosphere is awesome, waitresses are very friendly and we even met the owner who came by a couple times. The food was great, focused on meat, sausages and sauerkraut of course. Slightly pricy, but still well worth a visit.

Great place! Difficult to find since it's just a little door that get you downstairs to the pub and dinning room. Extremely cozy, and the owner y performs a very fun show. Loved the craft beer and atmosphere. A must!
