Easily the best fish I've had in my life.Tomoe is a hidden gem! Unassuming exterior belies a cosy welcoming interior, Staff were very polite and attentive and happy to explain items on the menu.Came in for a quick work lunch and left having a culinary experience of a lifetime!

Came here today with a work colleague. Without a doubt, some of the best Japanese food I've eaten in my life. Would definitely recommend and will be coming here again. 10/10

This place was a lovely coincidence. We were around the area and hungry for some good authentic Japanese food and we were pleasantly surprised. Quality is excellent and portions are hefty so don’t worry about being left hungry. The sashimi plate was freshly prepared by the chef and the unagi don was brilliant. Everything about the food and ambience brought me right back to Tokyo. I will be coming back again with friends.

Haven't been here for a while since the lockdown. So glad that the restaurant survived through the difficult phase.Food is still tasty as ever.Bought a friend over and got thanked and cursed at the same time for keeping it a secret for so long.Service was excellent and polite as it was before.

Wonderful Sushi and Katsu Curry. Classic sushi restaurant where chef serves up fresh Sushi at the bar. All the brilliant ingredients are on display.Unlimited tea included, I think it was toasted rice and green tea. The service is also impeccable.

Went here after waiting to try it for a while. 6.40pm on a weekday afternoon. Was told it was fully booked even for 2 pax but if we could finish by 7.30pm then they could accommodate us. We were fine with it and went in to order as soon as possible. Good all came piping hot, such as our udon, agedashi tofu and tempura. Really enjoyed our spicy tuna sushi starter too and of course the yummy chutoro. I had a zaru soba and I felt like I was back in Japan. It’s so nice to have this just down the street from my home. The staff were friendly and had the traditional, typical Japanese hospitality and etiquette. The place is tiny but cosy and neat. Really reminds me of Japan. My husband kept complimenting the food as he ate. Can’t wait to visit again and try the other items and savour the experience whilst I wait for Japan to accept tourists once again! Book ahead to avoid disappointment!

Genuine Japanese sushi! Nigiri pieces have great ratio of fish to rice and the fish is very fresh and of good quality. Definitely will be back
