Vagabond Wines in City of London

Good vibe and full of people, but out of 4 wines we tried 2 were almost vinegar and 2 were just bad. Very unfortunate experience and hopefully we got unlucky and not representative of all the wines. Food was absolutely awful, bread was obviously cut earlier in the day and had dried out, the flatbread was so stale it stood upright, charcuterie was super average.

Great experience. All the staff were so amazing and friendly. They all have knowledge of the wines and went quite in depth if asked. The wines were excellent too. Great way to understand the different types of grapes and figure out what you actually like, without spending a fortune.

Lovely wine place & fun concept for those who enjoy a good glass of wine without high-end expectations. Casual place, one of the nicer wine 'chains' in London.We had a lovely evening. I tried to use the app instead of getting a card, sadly it didn't work at first but the lovely General manager Raluca helped us sorting it out. She was extremely customer led, knowledgeable about wines and understands hospitality through and through. She could give us some great wine recommendations. Especially for someone who doesn't enjoy a chardonnay, she made me truly enjoy a glass from a fantastic winery! Thanks Raluca for making our evening wonderful.

The wines were mostly overpriced, though there was a very nice selection. Customer service is friendly and the food is really not that much. I thought only food could be ordered to the table and that you had to take your wine from this tap. Most annoying experience... You have to set up an account, verify information, upload card details, date of birth, address, etc and then go to the taps that take ages to recognise your phone. From sitting down at the table to having a wine in my hand it took about 35 minutes. Ridiculous. After all this time away from people and your office mates, you are meant to go to a place that requires everyone to be looking down at their phones for the first half hour. Also, what a prime great place for a hack. That data is sitting there ripe for taking.

Love the idea of self-service wine by the glass, and the app worked fine once you got the hang of it. Delicious cheese boards, but I had a surprisingly hard time finding wine I liked, and spent most of my time, and money, sampling them all

Really cool and unique place to have informal drinks and dinner!Whole concept is really cool. Charge your card and you’re away, amazing selection, they also have 5/6 beers on tap in case you have non wine drinkers. They also have a smaller selection of super premium wines and dessert wines. Which were a special treat.Food was platters, meats and cheese don’t really disappoint when you’re drinking wine.I’d go back and recommend.

Great place, great wines, great food. The new app is awesome albeit a little bit glitchy.

Lovely spacious bar with a great selection of wine! They have flights of wine with tasting notes etc. so it feels a bit like an impromptu wine tasting.The staff are amazing here. We were served by someone who I believe was American... No I'm joking - she was Canadian! Chelsea, if you're reading this, I did eventually frame it (see photo). It's hanging pride of place in my hallway. I hope you're proud :)Will hopefully be back soon! Thanks all.

Nice atmosphere and interesting, lots of wine options. I went on a Wednesday night, it wasn't too packed. Can order wine from the machines via an app or a top up card, any unused money, you can get it refunded. Not a lot of food options but the snacks were alright, personally I think it was a little expensive, 4 bowls of snacks/starter for £22 🙄 But totally enjoyed the wine experience, would definitely go again, I kept the card 👍

Chic wine bar with extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. There was a guest wine flight on from the Loire valley last I visited which was really exciting to try. Staff will happily explain some snack pairings too! Enomatic machines were off for safety reasons but the place adapted well.
