Vinoteca - Chiswick in City of London

Two things I love about this place: wine and staff. Wine recommendations for every menu item are great and never disappoint. Staff are polite, nothing is too much trouble and they really know what they’re talking about when making a suggestion. One downside is the food. I used to love the menu. Even though there aren’t enough vegan options, the kitchen staff are always happy to substitute ingredients if possible. But the items on the menu have become a little disappointing recently. Kitchen staff, whatever you were doing before, please go back to that. This is in no way a complaint but more of a feedback as I want to come back again and enjoy the food as well as everything else :)

Last week I visited Vinoteca Chiswick and have been extremely disappointed, not only because of their prices but mainly because of their low quality of food.My friend and I got two glasses of white wine which were served at room temperature.I got the ham hock with lentils which was ok - my friend got the haddock with the risotto and the rice was undercooked.For dessert my friend got the chocolate cake, which we had to share, because I got the Poached Rhubarb which was literally some stems of celery in a bowl.We paid £75.

Great selection of wines to complement the food which is reasonable value. Beware the "maybe I'll try..."

So happy to have this spot in the area, especially as the street is so cozy and quiet. Very good selection of carefully curated wines at affordable prices. Coming back soon to try the food as it looked great on the plates that staff were bringing to other tables!

What a lovely find simple, effective. Tried to get a table across the road at the Michelin restaurant however they were fully booked fortunately for me. Superb wine selection served by someone who is as passionate about food and wine as myself.Get a bottle of Banyuls/Maury to pair with the chocolate desert and you will have nailed it.My mum was made up, thank you.

What can I say, simply fantastic. We will be back. Everything including the service was astonishing, wine and food is to die for. My wife rates 12/10 lol

Wine by the glass is disappointing, service is to give the very last drop of the bottle and glasses are fair but not generous.. The food is delicious. The service is very friendly but completely overworked. The place is really crowded and very noisy. Very expensive for a brasserie type restaurant. I will go back though to try the wine list at bottle level and update the review.

We have been going regularly to Vinotrca since its reopening last year. The food is delicious and menu updated frequently, lovely wine selection but most of all wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service. Great place for a cosy get together with friends over a bottle of wine and nibbles/meze style foods. We will certainly be returning for more.

The wine & decor of the restaurant was good. It had a nice atmosphere. However, I was really disappointed with the food. I had the vegan bavette & was really excited to try it. Sadly, when my food arrived the so called bavette was just a large soggy mushroom. Disappointed! £14 for a soggy mushroom and fries - what a rip off!!Please take this off your menu as it’s a disaster & you should be embarrassed to serve it to paying customers.

Really charming place with excellent selection of wine at a good variety of prices. The food was a surprise and is really excellent, some really high quality produce is used. Service and staff are attentive and friendly. Lovely candlelit atmosphere as it gets dark. Highly recommended.
