Vivat Bacchus in City of London

Steaks were very good, my Vegan mushroom risotto was perfect - brocoli side was a good idea since risotto portion size not quite enough. Staff were attentive without being annoying 🙄

Hidden gem in Farringdon, that served great food and had a great wine selection. Went on a Tuesday, so it wasn't busy, which was very nice for a date. Me and my partner would go again.

Delicious food and served well. Simple and straight to the point. Service was excellent. Nothing to complain. Price also decent.

This place is knows for its Wine collection and the collection surely did look amazing, can't really comment on the and the quality of wines as we went during office hours. Ordered the seafood spaghetti along with soup of the day. The food was good but took time to come. I'll give them full stars for their service. Being in Holborn it was full of corporate people. For a total of 6 people we had a bill of 130 pounds which seemed fair.

I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The staff were super nice and the food was tasty. The cheese room is a nice touch and my cheese loving friend thoroughly enjoyed making up her own cheese board for dessert.The restaurant was pretty quiet, so there was a lack of atmosphere and I didn't necessarily feel like I wanted to while away another hour over a couple of post-lunch drinks, which is what I would have done with a better vibe. Outside of that, a lovely spot for some lunch.

This is a real dining experience! The steaks here are cooked really well, I had mine blue and they did it just right, letting it rest so it wasn't bleeding everywhere. There are a good selection of wines, ports etc too. The unique feature of this place is the cheese room, where you have the option to try cheeses and get recommendations so that a platter can be tailor made for you. I highly recommend a visit!

Great South African restaurant. They have a mean steak that would satisfy any critic and it comes with monkey gland sauce. They have Dom Pedro's and a cheese room.

Excellent food and great wine list! This is one of the best places in London to enjoy very well grilled/cooked meat dishes, they even have a Carnivore Club. They are lovely people and organise lots of wine dinners and cheese tastings! Not one to be missed!
