Wahaca in City of London

This is a great Mexican restaurant with super friendly staff and fabulous food! There is a lift down to the basement level where the main restaurant is, which is a great addition for accessibility, however the doors downstairs don't open automatically and as there is no space to turn around in the lift, it was very awkward for me to get into the main restaurant in my wheelchair. Other than that though, we had a great experience. The staff were lovely, helpfully showing me to the accessible bathroom and discussing the vegan menu with us. The drinks were also amazing! 🍹

We dined as a table of 9 last Wednesday, the service by Sara was great. The food was lovely with generous portions, we had one set meal and the rest had their own, but looking at the food arriving for the set meal we all wish we had gone for those (veggie and vegan options available too)Cocktails - small choice but really nice.Overall, large space, friendly staff, good value for money especially for central London. For a Wednesday Night the place was extremely busy.Thank you again to Sara for looking after us.

We all really enjoyed the food. My partner isn't the biggest fan if vegetables, but really liked all of the veggie options on the favourites sharing menu.I really liked the butternut squash and feta, so delicious!The only issue was that we had to ask a few times for all of the things we ordered, then these were added to the bill.There were taken off the bill, but we also had to rush to the theatre so we had to run there after leaving!

Great food, arrives quickly and fresh so if you get street food, it may arrive at different times which makes for long enjoyable dinner! Plantain and hibiscus margarita are especially lovely! Location could have a slightly better atmosphere, however.

Incredible place! The only Mexican restaurant that I found Micheladas in London. The food is delicious and tastes like Mexican food (believe me, I am Mexican). Enchiladas have an exciting combination with rice and beans, and the flavour is exceptional. Definitely, I'll be back soon.

Honestly amazing food! I'm normally a fussy eater so I was a bit nervous the first time but I loved it. So much choice and amazing food. Have already been back since my first time a month ago!:)

Amazing restaurant… amazing food. Amazing tequila. Amazing staff!!!!! Absolutely loved this restaurant and everything about it. I will travel 300 miles again to come back here, would love to thank Miguel our waiter for the night who also guided us through the menu giving us the best possible experience

Fresh food and the best Mexican drinks. Stuff are very accommodating and they can change ingredients for you if you don’t like something. Will come back to this place.

By far my favourite restaurant, great and fast service. Always make me feel comfortable. Just wish I had one closer to home but always worth the travel. Belu is also my favourite drink so bonus that they serve this

Wahaca is still by far one of my favourite restaurants. The food, cocktails and atmosphere is great and we always enjoy our experience here. This past time, although the service wasn't as good as it always is, the drinks and food thankfully made up for it. They still have the best sweet potato and feta taquito and the margaritas are to die for!
