The White Lion is just perfect!The quaint but traditional White Lion has great character, and is situated in the heart of the town.I found the food to be of a high standard and presentation, and made with a lot of thought and care, for a very good price.But most of all the service is second to none and this helps the White Lion shine above everything else.I would highly recommend? Make the White Lion your destination when heading to Upton and Malvern.

We celebrated our ruby wedding anniversary here. Has a brilliant weekend - stayed in the courtyard. Very old hotel - decor does reflect it but it’s well worth a visit. Staff go the extra mile to help and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast was amazing and the meal we had in the restaurant was top notch. Highly recommend you give it a go - worth every penny.

The Single Bed in room 204 was like sleeping on Cobbled Street.Something digging in my back or side I'm the centre all night.Not that I could sleep in Any case as every hour even though the bathroom light was off and no one using the toilet the Macerator in the toilet roared.So no sleep.Positives , lady at check In and bar was very welcoming and pleasant.Breakfast was good.Nice to have seating areas with sofas outside in other areas in hotel.But of you can't sleep all the positives are sadly hard to enjoy when you has no sleep

We stayed here for 2 nightsGood for dogs.. Room was on top floor twin.. Honest bit tired decor.. But character with beams..Great size TV, and really comfy beds...Noisy toilet when flushing..Nice outdoor area, nice dogs allowed in this area as well as lounge bar area..area, we had lovey evening meal good bar as well..beer etcBreakfast was OK... Service was OK as well. Scrambled eggs and salmon.. Was OK.. The full brek was really good..Car parking small but good for hotel..All In all great hotel.. Would stay again...

A lovely stay in the White Lion, Upton on Severn. We stayed in one on the courtyard rooms, specious and comfortable. A great evening meal and generous breakfast. Staff are wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is over 500 years old, quirky and interesting.

Loved the old world charm. Pity we could not dine in as guests since the restaurant was for reservations only. The amazing breakfast more than made up for the disappointment. We will definitely visit here again.
