Very tasty, well presented food, but quite Chilli, which wasnt advised beforehand even though we had kids at the table. Great flavors and the cocktails are nice as well, but the service is quite slow

The presentation was excellent but the food didn’t taste as special as its presentation. The egg fried rice had no taste at all.

The Chinese food here is actually adapted towards the appearance and dish styling, so the chefs here are trained to ignore tastes. Deserts is almost a disaster.Price is basically paying the restaurant decoration. If you like a restaurant with good vibe, take it; if you are looking for some tasty food, better avoid it.

Spent just over £100 here for a late dim-sum lunch during a weekday with my wife. Ordered around 7 items a-la-carte. Food was just fine but extremely overpriced. You are much better off going to Wan Chai Corner in London Chinatown for an authentic experience, properly made dim sum, and at less than half the price here. The menu is uninspiring and uncreative. The food here simply substitutes some premium ingredients into the traditional recipes (scallops rather than pork in a shumai, venison instead of barbeque pork pastry, seafood stir-fry kway teow noodles instead of traditional recipe with meat, you get the idea). There is no additional presentation or technique visible to justify the price (over £10 for each item and £20 for a plate of stir-fry noodles).Worst item was the "Yauatcha dan dan noodle soup". It was basically Lao Gan Ma Chinese chili sauce on blanched vermicelli, in a tiny soup bowl, for £12 that you will finish in 3 bites. It isn't even what dan dan noodles are supposed to be. For a namesake item it really does sum up this restaurant. The only good item was the spicy soft shell crab (but not worth £16).We were charged £6 for a pot of mao jian green tea and there were not even tea leaves inside, so it could have been some generically brewed teabag. Every restaurant I've been to in London that charges £3 for a pot of tea would at least include tea leaves inside the pot because the tea is what you are paying for. How this supposedly Chinese restaurant think this is ok is beyond me.The restaurant décor was just bland. The cutlery was bland. The service was nothing but average. We were seated so close to the tables next to us that we could hear their entire conversation (and made it much more difficult to complain to my wife about the overpriced food).Overall, strongly not recommended, would never come again. It reflects poorly on the main restaurant in Soho because I would never go there after this experience. I hope this restaurant takes this criticism constructively.

Loved this place. Foods are well decorated dishes, tastes remind me Master Chefs. Highly recommended.

Good location & trusty place to go for dimsum. The dimsum are expensive but there's a lot of creative variety (e.g. truffles). Would not order any other food as they all came out extremely oily.Tip: order dimsum only. And the Prawn Cheung Fun is a must!Yauatcha is a place that feels like it could do better. I used to love going to Yauatcha Soho in it's hay day when it was a truly special experience. The desserts and cakes are wonderful and it's arguably one of the only nice places to eat dimsum in London. That said, in recent years it feels like it's gone more mainstream. All of the "set menus" seem geared towards people who are not familiar with dim sum or Cantonese food - so most of the set menus have a Western "three course meal" concept of starter - main - pudding. Which just doesn't work.Service was good although I wish they would just let us keep a jug of water on the table as it took a while to get it refilled when the food and drinking tea dehydrates you quite quickly.I hope Yauatcha finds it's way and stays true to it's own identity again in the future - haven't quite given up on them yet.

We chose the explore menu which offers a good range of dim sum, wok dishes, sides and desserts. The cocktails were excellent. Beware that you may have to pay extra for certain dishes on the explore menu which we were not aware of. The staff were friendly but it was hard at times to get their attention.

We have ordered for delivery and takeaway from this place during lockdown multiple times and we have dined in for the first time last week and it did not disappoint, it even exceeded our expectations ten fold.We had the set menu for £52 each and we have tried other things we’ve never ordered before and they were amazing like the wagyu puff, crispy aromatic duck, tea smoked ribs and softshell crab! They are crazy good!!!!!We also ordered our favourites and were expecting the same kinda good food but no, they were sooooo much better than the already best chinese food we had before! This is crazy! And the amount of food they gave us lasted for so long that we had to ask for takeaway and they let us do that which is insanely good and so worth the money!!!

The restaurant always does good quality food. I am impressed by the selection of dim sum they have to offer. I didn’t go for the dessert but this restaurant is always known for good desserts so if you fancy some sweets, here is the place to come. The price of the dishes can be quite high therefore do get ready to splash a little if you are coming here. Great ambience, great food and wouldn’t mind coming back again in the future.
