I have been coming here since it opened and it was always decent and could find something to eat and enjoy. My last visit was a disaster cold rolls and unpleasant atmosphere, unclean and under staffed had to send food back and ask for a refund as it's all pay in advance.Basically the food is prepared in advance and put in the fridge to be served maybe hours or a day later, the rice was overcooked.Never again till maybe they improve.

Chicken yakisoba very dry & tasted like it had been left on the side all day. Seemed they were serving old chicken. Sticky surfaces & had to wait for table. Very fast service.

Incredible selection of Asian delights, premium price but dined in a central London location. The app ordering, conveyer belt delivery system and watching the chefs prepare the fresh food make a novel meal experience. Look forward to trying other locations. On the occasion I dined unfortunately the conveyor belt wasn’t used to it’s potential (the chefs handed the food directly to me) which reduced my expectation of the full experience.

Food is average, the things that disappointed me the most is the lack of attentive customer service which I find quite common in UK, as you can see in the pic, I asked for some bowls to eat shared dishes and to my surprise, they brought out massive dirty bowls that still had the stain of left over food . They don’t understand that at Japanese restaurant they don’t use massive bowls like that, and also the cooks are mostly Indian whom I don’t think have much understanding about Japanese food . We ordered 6 dishes and they brought out 5 dishes and when I asked for the missing one; they brought out the wrong dish. Quite disappointing Japanese dining experience in UK. Wouldn’t recommend anyone for this.

I enjoyed my experience at this place, it was my first time using the conveyer belt system. I would have given 5 stars but most of the food I ordered arrived through a person and not through the conveyer belt system. I would prefer the conveyer belt system as that is the whole quirk of the restaurant.

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants which I would always visit with friends and family. The aspect of it that we all loved most was the fact that it was a running sushi; not only was that fun to interact with but it was practical for times when we were in a rush. The disappointment came when I visited once more only to realise that it was no longer a running sushi restaurant. Not only that, but you had no choice but to order through your phone number in which you had to pay with card. Not only was this payment form extremely impractical, but the food itself wasn’t as good as it used to be. The teriyaki chicken was completely dry and tough, almost inedible. The sushi was chewy and gave the taste of something that had been stored for ages.I hate posting negative reviews but it’s saddening to see such a great restaurant loose it’s potential. I hope they return to their older ways of service.

I took my grand daughters aged 11/8 yrs of age for a sushi treat . We all love the Japanese’ street food and the restaurants .Yo sushi bar if more attractive as it is in Selfridges which Is on the famous Oxford Street. The Yo bar was buzzing @ lunchtime . We had a 10 minutes wait . The high chairs with the view of the conveyor belt and the staff serving the platters is interesting . The digital ordering was fun for all with contactless payment .The service was slow but the food was fresh and appealing . As usual everyone enjoyed the fries. The price reflected was reasonable .I would definitely visit again and recommend the bar to all especially to the shoppers in Selfridges .

This was my first time visiting Yo! Sushi in Selfridges, the first thing I noticed was the queueing system wasn't very clear, some people queued to the left and some queued to the right, there wasn't a takeaway queue so it was just a bit messy knowing where to go....Anyway I think the new "delivery" of the food is AWESOME!!! You have a red bar in front of you and it turns yellow when it's on the way (on the belt) and then it's green when it is in front of you. Very cool!! The only down side to this is that your dish has to go in front of everyone else before it gets to you, which we did keep saying ..I hope no one sneezes on it.... Especially when you can't see it around corners, it would be nice to have the plastic domes on that they used to do just to keep it extra fresh and safe. You can order to your table through the app which was really easy to do, the menu was a lot smaller than usual, I am not sure if this is because of Covid or just because it's in Selfridges but all of the favourites are still there.Knocked it down a star for the queueing system and no cover for the food, also what happened to the big sushi bowls?? Upgrading meant getting it in a bowl where you couldn't get to the sauce at the bottom...strange choice!
