Very , very disappointing! I have been going to this place for years and today they refused to serve me! Apparently I needed a reservation even though the place was half empty. Is it now a fine dining??? Wouldn’t be surprised if they go out of business soon, with an attitude like this. I had some great sushi just opposite in Eat Tokyo 😊

Way too complicated. We were hoping for a quick bite before a show and thought this fit the bill, but we ended up walking out again without eating there. In order to order anything you need to have an internet connection, which we didn't have. In order to get on their free Wi-Fi you have to give way too much personal information. Seems ridiculous that a restaurant can't even give you a menu. Once we got a tablet from them to try and order we found the selection very limited and no way to put notes on the order (like "no wasabi please"). Seemed very silly to have to do all this through a tablet when the lady making the food was literally only 3 feet away from us.But what made us leave was the thought of it food being moved through all the other booths before it got to us - just does not seem very hygienic, especially as Covid is still an issue.

So sad I cannot give 0 stars for such rude and unacceptable behaviour. Please do not bother to go to this place as it seems they do not care at all for their business and they do not have an idea about how to treat a guest. I am a restaurant manager myself and I can say with all honesty that they should be ashamed to have staff like that working for them ( considering they are a quite popular and well established company). Arrived there at around 5pm on Sunday super excited to have some YoSushi as had been one of our favourite Japanese but our experience had been cut short by the rude waitress . She opened the door and asked if we had a booking with almost all restaurant empty. I said no, but mentioned that I checked the site on our way and I seen there is plenty availability so didn't think to go all the steps and book and the answer had been on a very loud and nasty tone" I am not going to serve you because I am alone, there is no staff and my manager told me do not let anyone in because I am alone ". I could not believe my ears and replied that I may close the door and do a booking straight away and she becomes even more nervous saying"No!! You would not be let in " closed the door in our face and walked away 😅😅 Shame on you YoSushi for tolerating such a behaviour!

The portion is really small. The sushi rolls are like miniature version of other sushi places. The ironic part is there is a Japanese restaurant opposite Yo! Sushi called Eat Tokyo which serves better and bigger portion of the sushi I ordered. Back to Eat Tokyo again for lunch next time.

Not the most Covid Friendly place, I know places are trying to get back to normal but j still feel some precautions should be in place. For example, non of the Staff were wearing masks, in the toilets there was no where to dry hairs in the ladies and gents. The Waitress who served us was too near us when explaining about drinks, she didn't need to be as close as she was as it wasn't noisy in there, which just made me feel uneasy. When the food is on the conveyorbelt it's going past all the people sitting next to it which isn't ideal when people are breathing and picking stuff up and putting it back. I think staff members could have just gone and brought it to the tables. I know it's fun to use the conveyorbelt but it just wasn't needed on our visit.Because of the conveyorbelt there was less staff presence which meant we couldn't ask questions or assistance.Food could of been hotter.I have given this a 3 because of the range of vegetarian, vegan and meat food that they do and it is tasty.

Very tasty food with a great service. I enjoyed my first time here, if you are in London, try them. Thank you for your service xx

We love YO but this was not our favourite branch (still a good 4*), mainly to do with staffing levels. The ones on duty were excellent, just rushed off their feet. The location is very handy. Repurposing the conveyor belt as an order delivery system works well. We would still recommend.

Great little location, tucked away off of the busy shops nearby. Was busy, but had space available and didn't have to wait for a seat. Sushi was same good quality as expected of Yo, and staff friendly.

The food is pretty consistent at Yo! I've never had an issue with the food. I don't like sushi, I always have hot food which is always tasty. I love that the open kitchens are in the centre of the restaurant so that we can see everything they're doing. The skills of the sushi chefs are incredible to watch, they are actually artists. The food at Yo! Is mostly tasty and filling, not too expensive. My friends that each sushi say it's pretty decent at Yo! For a quick meal in a casual setting Yo! is a good choice. The service at this branch was also very good.

The popcorn shrimp is my favourite dish, tempura prawns drizzled with a sweet shiro miso & chilli sauce, so mouthwatering! The chicken katsu curry was really good! The chicken was succulent but there was a lot of rice (probs cos I got the large lol) but I asked for extra katsu curry so did finish it all! The chicken curry ramen was delicious, the broth was full of flavour and had the perfect amount of toppings (Japanese fried chicken, pak choi & pickled onions)! Would definitely get this again! - @eatwithlaki
