Zizzi (the strand) in City of London

It was possible to arrive late lunch time here without a booking on a Saturday. We received complimentary Pasta crisps (interesting). Both I and my dining partner chose the Beef short rib. Highly recommended. Very tasty and decent size portion. I would dine here again for sure.

Fantastic food as a person with celiac disease, I appreciate places where I can eat tasty and my choice is not limited to one dish. Nice service, despite the fact that the application for allergy sufferers is poor, nice lady waitress helped with everything. I recommend 🤤

Highly recommended!! It deserves more than 5 starts. the food was delicious, the restaurant is every clean , employees are friendly and helpful .

Two stars to even out rating a little. It is the first time Carbonara was tasteless and it's not a Covid, trust me. Also worst aranchini recorded. Interior and lighting is ok. Fake plants. Plenty of space. I'd say it is below Nandos level.

Not sure why with social distancing everyone was crammed into a tiny corner of the entire floor while the rest was unused/empty. Big no-no for myself to return to this place even without the virus, no privacy.Waiters nice and accommodate requests for children, my pasta was bland in my opinion while the rest of my antourage liked their food (pizzas + pasta). Service on the slow side.Anyways good value for 💰 but could easily be better!

Apart from a small queue on a Saturday night, we were seated quickly. Great atmosphere inside, really busy but the staff had the restaurant running well. Good food which you can see being prepared in an open plan kitchen area, good selection of food with all expected dishes, drinks a little toppy but then it's an eatery so to be expected. Very reasonable costs and a good place to eat.

Food was lovely and fresh although i hoped my prawns had abit more flavour. Portions were big. Service was speedy which was great, staff work hard. The restaurant itself is at basement level, could not see disabled access so have that in mind when visiting.

As soon as you enter the restaurant, you get an impression of what you will get in terms of ambiance and taste with the interior design and smell coming from the pizza oven. The food was excellent, the prices were even better for what we got. The portions were very good as well, and easily filled you up. They had some great recipe twists such as the Chorizo Carbonara that was very tasteful. Unfortunately due to small staff this evening, some tables were closed and we had to wait a bit to get a table (10mins), but at the end, it was worth it. Food came quickly and staff was very friendly and helpful.Very good experience overall, we will come back.

Great for pre theatre experience! Service was quick. Food was great. Cocktails were just right. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

Still one of my favourite pizza in London, I'm Italian and I don't like napoletana pizza, so this a really good alternative, everything was good, attentive service, just 2 bad things... too much oil everywhere, especially I the courgettes, and the tiramisù no, no way, so far from a really Italian tiramisù. Price are ok considering there was no service charge
