Zoo Bar in City of London

Simple stopped us getting in .. me & my wife , by asking first us both to produce I.D. , joke really i'm 55 only had one drink before trying to get in ... some people don't won't your money we would have spent more over there bar than most ...xx got to love them ..

Been going to zoo bar since 2019, always good vibe, since after covid it went down hill fast. Saturday night I was in queue and ask security if it’s busy he said the usual and he said it’s £15 as the usual, I got searched, my friend got in before me, this supervisor at the door said I should wait, I was then told it’s £25 when my friend who was just in front of me paid £15. I don’t mind paying it but why did I get ask to pay more than everyone else even when I mentioned the security said it’s £15 entry.

After going through serious and major life threatening issues, a friend suggested we go here to cheer me up. So being confined to a wheelchair, I looked them up and rang them and they said the are wheelchair accessible. Having turned up on the door the security made us wait for 10 mins before some very rude bloke in a suit turned up and said they don’t accept wheelchairs and I don’t fit the profile to be in the chair.That is disability discrimination at its finest, I would urge anyone with mobility issues to avoid this place!Lastly I have now referred this matter to the Police to investigate and take legal action!

Ridiculous. Stupid Rules. I got here after work with my safety shoes, ready to join some friends and have a memorable night (£). They said those kind of shoes are not allowed. They didn't ask for a COVID pass, they didn't even check my clothes properly at the security (I forgot a wine opener in my pocket) but the shoes were the problem (they are like a weapon they say). I never had this problem in any other place in London and anywhere around the world. Honestly, don't waste your time queueing in this place.

Terrible place. Used to be the best place 3 years ago for over 20 years but new owners bought the place.You will pay a ridiculous amount of money to drink very poor quality spirits.The security at the door is rude and won’t allow single entry.Inside, half the screens are broken and usually the club downstairs will be closed during the week.Sad to see what this place become under new management.All previous staff left anyway.To avoid, even if you are nostalgic of the old zoo bar

Ordered single vodkas and coke for around £10-12 and was charged 20-25 for each transaction multiple times be careful when you're drunk guys these people are more than happy to overcharge you for anything without consent

The door staff on some power trip there. Didn’t let my girlfriend leave when she wanted to when I said I’ll take her home and all that. Normally good vibes but the door staff need to fix up.

I wanted to grab a drink after hitting the casino and the security guard asked me if I was alone. I said yes. He said there was no single entry, couples only, and he turned me away. Do you know how night clubs work? What a joke. I actually won money at the casino for the first time in forever and wanted to blow some of it and they literally wouldn’t take my money. Unreal.

Manager is a absolute wet wipe. Payed 20 quid to go in with partner. Walk in and out as it was shockly bad. All staff refused refund even though they just seen us walk in and out. Not even in there 10 seconds. Manger prob gets paided £5 quid a hour thinking he owns the place.

Ok atmosphere but quite dead, very expensive even for London prices. 26 pound for a double vodka lemonade and JD and coke In little plastic cup. Won’t be visiting again. Moved on after those drinks to bar down the road. Half the price for the same thing.
